Timeless Beauty - Michelle Van Oudtshoorn - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello lovelies.

I am back on the blog today with a layout inspired off the September moodboard. And it  is such a beautiful moodboard - aligns very well with the spring month here in the Southern Hemisphere!

Here is the layout I have created using the colours
This is a layout created using Uniquely Creative paper ... and a photo of my beautiful daughter (not that I am being biased .....)
I have printed the photo with a border and adhered this to the paper with a foam tape in the centre of the photo. This has allowed me to add the chipboard pieces under the photo.
I have used a dark teal/green acrylic paint for all my chipboard pieces - sponged directly onto all of the pieces. The Scroll Border (DA3433) has been cut up to allow it to be used as several pieces. This a great way to get more use out of single pieces.
I have added some fussy cut flowers and then created extra dimension with the Mini Heart Buttons (DA3430) and a Butterfly (DA3335).
I then added the title Timeless Beauty (DA2667) and some words (DA1645) to finish off the layout.

You can use the September moodboard for inspiration, and create a project using Dusty Attic chipboard to the Dusty FANattics Facebook page - and you could be in line to win one of 2 AUD50 worth of gorgeous chipboard! Why not give it a go?

Here are the products I have used on my page:

Simply Amazing - Michelle Van Oudtshoorn

Hello lovelies

It is really cold here in NZ, winter has finally arrived. As I am writing this the wind is howling outside and it is snowing around us. Brrrrr! I have layout that I created that I am sharing with you today.

I have used a Uniquely Creative paper range to create my layout. The chipboard has all been painted with Prima Metallique Acrylic paint. I placed the two iron garnishes (DA1868 and DA1869) on the page, and did not stick these down, until I had placed them apart in away that the frame (DA2673) would fit along the straight lines of these garnish pieces. Then I adhered these to the page.
I have placed foam tape under the photo frame so that it lays in line with the garnish pieces.
Once these pieces were adhered, I began layering my flowers (49 and Market) at the corner edges. Between these flowers, I have added some of the mini heart buttons (DA3430) with twine that I have thread through the holes in both clusters.
There are also some mini heart buttons added to the page for an effect.
The title "Simply Amazing" (DA2747)  has been added to each flower cluster.
To finish off, I have added some micro beads to the page.

These are the products I have used:

Thanks for visiting the blog today.

Big hugs,
Michelle

Second I would like to share a layout as inspiration for the June Mood Board challenge with you from

JEN BURNS

Although I started off with the Dusty Attic June mood board my layout took me into a different direction as I added greens, blues and yellows to my page below.

Today I have a layout of my gorgeous little grand daughter taken last year at the park across the road, just sitting playing with the leaves quite happily.

I started off by slicing the large Park tree in half and using this on the left hand side of my page (and now I have another half for another layout)  I have painted the Tree with brown on the  trunk and branches and then the grass and leaves section with green, when it was completely dry  inked some brown ink over the top to add texture, I have painted the Autumn leaves the same way.

Using the 49 and Market Curators Botanical range allowed me to connect the tree over to the photograph using the fence rub on then follow the layout upwards to add the Heart strings heart and large butterfly to the top of the page.

The word "Blessed" is from Word pack #45 and is perfect for the way I feel about both of my grandchildren. I have sponged this with the same green as the tree but added a yellow ink over the top to add highlights.

To finish off my page I have added a mini heart button in white and three cute little mini butterflies in yellow,

Remember you can purchase any of the Dusty Attic chipboard from the online store

ATC Frame sets - Anat Weksler

 Hello dear friends!

I have been a bit absent for a while but here I am again sharing my new set of ATC' using some gorgeous Dusty Attic's Chippies.

Each ATC was built with a different frame from the Frame medley set which I love.  As the background of the little frames I used diffrent texture/background chipboards like the broken bits.  And to complete I've used Bugs, folliage and more together with some metal elements, you will find below all chipboard used.

The chippies:

Broken bits #10-grid#2
