Mixed Media Card set - Anat Weksler - Mood Board Inspriation

 Hello crafty friends!

Anat here today with my take on this month's fabulous Moodboard.

I've created a couple of mixed media cards with shades from the Moodboard and black as contrast.

The background was created with stencil and paste. After drying liquid acrylic paints were added.

The chipboard pieces were primed with White heavy gesso, colored with Impasto paints and rubbed with  waxes.

Here are the chippies used in my cards:

Luggage tags

Fancy trim #15

Jewelry drops #5

Sturt desert pea #2

 Mini monarch butterflies

Diamonds

Happy - Belinda Spencer - Mood Board Inspiration

 Hello Dusty Attic fans!!

It's Belinda here today to share my latest layout inspired by the June Mood Board challenge and featuring some fabulous Dusty Attic chipboard.

"Happy"

Here's a reminder of the stunning mood board for this month. Aren't the colours just so pretty?!

I started my layout by adding some stencilling to the background paper using the XOXO and Confetti # 2 Stencils.

Next I added a piece of gorgeous printed vellum followed by the Fancy Frame # 4. I painted the frame with three coats of white gesso and then added some shimmery texture paste on top. I layered on some patterned papers in the mood board colours followed by a photo of my darling daughter.

I fussy cut some flowers from patterned paper and added those along with the Small Tea Leaves that I altered to match the frame.

Lastly I added all of my embellishments and title. The title, mini tab and word arrow were all painted with three coats of heavy gesso while the Mini Heart Button was painted to match the frame and tea leaves.

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope you find some time to play along with the mood board this month too.

Cheers

Dream - Michelle Van Oudtshoorn - Mood Board Inspiration

 Hello Dustyattic fans

I am back on the blog today with my project inspired off the gorgeous moodboard for June. These colours are just so pretty and I loved working with these colours:

So pretty and so dreamy!!

Here is my moodboard inspiration:
Here I have used a 49 and Market Irrevocable Beauty Timekeeper paper and some of the 49 and Market Lilac ephemera to layer my photo. I painted all my chipboard with Prima Alchemy paint and some of it I also added some waxes to enhance these. I first attached the ephemera, and added the DA1529 flower frame behind the paper before adhering to my page.

The Juliette window frame DA2358 was then added, before layering my flowers.

Once I had layered my flowers, I added my ivy leaves DA2601 tucking under the flower cluster.

The little owls DA0755 are so adorable and come in pieces they can be built up - eyes either open or closed.

Once I had finished I then added the title Dream DA1602, and added some pearls and shiny thread

These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces I have used:

There is still time for you to enter the monthly moodboard challenge by using the moodboard as inspiration and adding your entry to the Dusty FANattics facebook page - you could win one of two $50 vouchers worth of awesome Dusty Attic chipboard products.
