Christmas Bucket List - Kerstin Filou

 Hello everyone!

December has started, and everyone is searching for the ideal present again.

But there are more significant things, especially during this time of year.

This is the focus of my project today.

I created a canvas with a modified wish list that serves  as a reminder of the special moments of the Christmas season.

Adorable - Michelle Van Outdshoorn

Hello my scrappy friends

Happy Spring for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere!

It has been a very sad week here in my hometown, a close friend and scrapbooking sista was tragically killed. Little did I realise the significance of my layout until now, in that she was such a purple girl. She loved purple, wore it often and even had a beanie on with purple flowers on that tragic day. I dedicate this layout to her 💜💜💜💜

The layout has been created with a Uniquely Creative paper range. Each and every flower has been fussy cut. And where I have used their laser cuts, I have cut down the white edges.

In the cluster of fussy cut flowers I have added 49 and Market flowers. The chipboard leaves have been painted with acrylic green paint. This the Foliage #17 set (DA2236), and the mini foliage #2 set (DA2786). These have all been cut up into smaller pieces and inserted among the flower clusters.
The word paint on the word "beauty" has been dabbed on lightly with a sponge so as not to fill the letters with the acrylic paint. This from the wordpl@y #2 (DA1645). I then added the title #adorable from the hashtag sayings DA1597.
I also added one of the ornate pendant #DA1366 - aren't these pendants just adorable? I cut the piece to suit.
These are the products I have used:

Thank you for visiting the blog today.

Hugs,
Michelle

Magic Frost Flowers - Kerstin Filou - Mood Board Inspiration

Welcome creative friends!

Our monthly Moodboard is an absolutely wonderful natural inspiration,

Love the color theme, it reminds me on sunsets by the sea
it has so much harmony and peacefulness for me.

So I was inspired to create a new magical layout in mixed media style,
I chose the delicate variation of this Moodboard colour palette
to match an icy frosty winter morning.

The chipboards were primed with white gesso and partially decorated
with a little silver glitter paint. I reassembled the pearl pendant and
 added an ornate pendant.

Extra tip:

I turned all the paper flowers into ice flowers by first dipping them
in liquid white acrylic paint and then sprinkled with synthetic snow
to give them a quick and easy frosty look.

#beautiful - Michelle Van Oudtshoorn

Hello Dusty FANattics

I am sharing a layout inspired off the colours of the February moodboard

This is the layout I created with the moodboard
This layout has been created with Mintay paper range. I started with the ornate pendant (DA1366) and first cut of the chain part of the pendant, which I coloured with a Posco blue pen and the rest of pendant with a Posco pink pen. First I matted the photo, and then created the flower clusters - all added with foam tape and added the chain cut pieces to the photo.

The leaves (DA0508) were painted with a mix of blue, pink and purple posco pens and tucked under the flower clusters.
Love the cute little bees (DA3314) - also using the Posco acrylic pens to colour the bees and added to the flower clusters
The hashtag title "beautiful" (DA1597) was added to the layout, and I then added some bling to the page,
Why not enter the moodboard challenge by using the moodboard as inspiration, using dusty attic chipboard on your project and enter your project on the Dusty FANattics Facebook page and you could win one of two AUD$50 worth of  gorgeous Dusty Attic chipboard.

Cherish - Judith Tijsen - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello Dusty Attic fans,

Here I am with another creation made in response to
the beautiful red colors of this month's moodboard.

You can of course use the red colors to make a beautiful Christmas creation, but you don't have to.
It's about using the colors from the palette.
And then you can decide for yourself what to make.

I used a wooden oval panel. I first edited this with Dusty Attic Flourish Stencil DA2662 and several waxes from Finnabair.

All chipboards have a layer of embossing powder from WoW!

I used the following Dusty Attic products:

This Month's moodboard

You could win one of two $50 AUD credits to the Dusty Attic online store. The only requirement is that you have Dusty Attic chipboard on your creation and enter your project on the Dusty FANattics Page
