Girls just want to have fun - Rikki G - Sketch and Mood board Inspiration

Good morning how are you? I am here today with a little hybrid of the two Dusty Attic challenges. Remember you still have time to do either the sketch or mood board or if your feeling extra creative why don't you enter twice, that will give you two chances to go into the draw and what's better than that?

So here's a reminder of the Mood board...

And here is the reminder of the sketch which I rotated so the photos ran down the page.....

Ok where to start... there's a few key Dusty Attic Chipboard pieces that start the layout off and helps work your fussy cut layers in the layout.

Starting off with Door #3, add some foam mount or scrap chipboard to the back so you can add things underneath the door.

Now glue the left hand edge of the Ornate Circle frames to the door it will suspend the frame so you can add things in between the layers.

Add you photo, I used 2 layers worth of scrap chipboard to sit in the frame, this adds another layer.

Now add your fussy cutting.

Add your title to the right hand side of the photo, then add a selection of Grass Clusters around the frame.

Add some Ivy Vines throughout the layers.

Make a little cluster of Hanging Mason Jars

Add cluster of Broken Bits Honey Comb to your background.

Till next time have creative day.

All you need to do is add your take of the challenge into the comments section on the Dusty FANattics Facebook page HERE for your chance to win one of two amazing $50 Credits to choose any.

Good Luck and have fun creating.

Such a Great day - Anat Weksler

Hello dear Dusty FANattics!
Anat here, happy to share with you my Dusty Attic  project this month a Mixed Media Altered hoop with my own photo.

I have altered my hoop featuring lots of gorgeous Dusty Attic chipboard.

For the base of the hoop I've used lace fabric which I dyed with Finnabair's Impasto paint and Lindy's spray and finally rubbed on Aged Brass Metalique wax.
Next I spread texture paste on the amazing Door #3 , using the Lace stencil. When dry I painted it with Finnabair's impasto Paints.

Most of other chipboards I also painted with Finnabair Impasto paints, mixing them to create different shades and some with Lindy's Sprays. Finally I rubed them all with Aged Brass Metalique wax.

I assembled everything together adding some metal element and fabulous 49 and Market flowers.

Thanks for stopping by!
xoxo

Every photo tells a story - Julia Ost - Mood Board Inpiration

Hello dear friends!

This month’s Mood board  from Dusty Attic  is simply amazing! It has all my favorite colors so my new layout is made with love.
It is all about our life memories that we try to keep in our work.

Even though the photo is not mine, it reminds me of different moments that creativity holds. It is so important to keep even a moment of it in our hearts!
For this palette I used different techniques of chipboard coloring which is always interesting. I also picked flowers and other decorations and managed to combine them to create a harmonious layout.

I hope you enjoy my work!

Here I used:
