See, Play & Explore and Project Life Style - Audrey

I've been scrapping some photos of a little zoo adventure we had recently. Now I know the main stars of the day should have been the animals but a certain Little Miss, my granddaughter Cadence and her reactions to all the animals and things around her made her my star for the day, she absolutely loved it and was so excited about everything. As usual I took a heap, well maybe a mountain of photos so there'll be a few more pages later on about our Zoo Adventure.

I'm loving all the Project Life pages I'm seeing about and admire all my scrapping buddies who are doing it. Some of my pages are along the PL style so I'm loving using a lot of Dusty chipboard on these layouts, small chippy bits and even the larger chippy bits cut down are working really well for me. I adore the new arrows Jen's come up with, their so new they don't actually have a code for them yet, if you want them just let your LSS know and when they put in their Dusty order Jen will know when they put *New Arrows* what they mean.

Remembering Childhood
Hi there, today I'm sharing a layout of Raggedy Anne and Andy..... this brings back my childhood memories of some of my favourite toys. My daughter Mackenna wasn't too impressed with this layout because I chopped her head off  Sorry Missy..but I wanted the focus to be on the toys.

Little Darlings layout and ATC with - Robin

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing a dimensional layout I made using three gorgeous chipboard frames.

I painted each piece using ivory acrylic paint which I applied with a sponging technique.  I used the largest frame flat against my 12x12 paper to frame my design.  I then began to layer the two smaller frames using rosettes.

Here is a close-up photo of the layered frames.

This is my ATC as well ...

I used the "Coat of Arms" add-on #2 chipboard set (DA0833) to assemble this medieval collage ATC for this month's ATC theme.

I painted the lion using silver acrylic paint, then I applied Dusty Attic's Clear Crackle Finish. I mounted my silvery lion using foam adhesive.

Thanks for visiting with me today.

Tissue Box Cover - Vicky Alberto

My daughter has been begging me to make something for her room, so here is it...
I used my Swirlydoos August kit leftover papers and trims and altered a tissue
box with plenty of beautiful Dusty Attic pieces. I used an entire set of Baroque
 Corners (DA0543 -- 6 in a set, 2 large and 4 small) plus a gorgeous frame from
the ATC set #1 (DA0691 -- 3 different styles in a set) that fit perfectly over the hole.

Here is the full view from the front. The pearl and lace flower tutorial can be
 found HERE on my blog.

Here is the top view. All of the chipboard pieces were stippled with gesso and
splattered with pink Silks glaze. An easy shabby look to achieve.

Here is the back view and a close-up of the splattered glaze on the chipboard.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

Medieval ATC - Vicky Alberto

This month's Dusty Attic ATC theme is "medieval" and I created mine to sit nicely
in the middle of a card. I used my left overs from my August Swirlydoos kit and
added lots of gorgeous chipboard pieces. The background is actually the inside
negative from an ATC frame #4 (DA0896), the lion head is from the Coat of Arms
set #2 (DA0833), and the four corner pieces on the card are from
the Moroccan Accents (DA0837).

Here is the ATC on its own. Once primed with gesso, I used a variety of metallic
distress stains, crackle paint and inks to finish the chipboard pieces.
I topped them all off with a little "royal" manly bling.
