 Good morning how are you? I am here today to share with you another layout using some key pieces of chipboard from Dusty Attic and to be honest once I had the idea it came together nice and quick and that's the joys of working with some awesome chipboard pieces.

Daring and Strong - Adri Du Preez - Mood Board inspiration

Hello everyone!

Here is my layout inspired by the March mood board which features beautiful Dusty Attic chipboard pieces.

I used a lot of industrial chipboard pieces on this layout. I cut the large frame from the 

Cogs Frame Set in half and glued it to the corners of my page.  One piece of the cog was 

leftover, which I will use for another project.

All the Industrial chipboard pieces were covered with black gesso. 

Next, I painted the chipboard pieces using a sponge brush and Americana Acrylic paint 

in Burnt Umber, Grey Storm, and Slate Grey, and then dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

Two mini captions were covered with Slate Grey and dry brushed with white acrylic 

paint.  To make the captions stand out more, I glued dark gray cardstock to the back.

Hello dear Dusty Attic fans,

Today it's my turn again to inspire you here on the Dusty Attic blog.

This time I made a industrial canvas.

I really enjoyed making it. 

I love the colors and the industrial theme and of course the great Dusty Attic industrial chipboards.

And I used lots of them on this project.

For the background I used two stencils, Distressed Grid and Glass Stains.

Good Morning and welcome back to the blog today sharing a small mixed media project for Dusty Attic. This is designed on the heart from the Unlock My Heart Set.

 I began by setting pieces on the heart trying to determine which ones I would like and would look great. Once I set them up, I begin painting them all with Buff Acrylic paint. Then I added rust Patina from Stamperia and Oxide Sprays

I heat set in between layers of colour

The rust patina from Stamperia, although does not have texture to it like the Rust paste from Prima, I still love the effect I achieved. 

Here is my finished piece, I hope you enjoyed by project this week.
