Discover new places - Adri Du Preez

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the blog today.  I used beautiful Dusty Attic travel chippies and the paper is from the 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Anywhere collections for this layout.  In this blog post, I feature my grandson James, or Baby James as his cousins Mila and Janco call him. The day they immigrated to Australia, his dad took this photo at the OR Tambo Airport. The planes fascinated him.  It is a very special photo for me.  Everything about this little boy makes me miss him.  The sound of his voice, the way he laughs, his hugs, and his smell.

Here is my layout.

All the chippies were first covered with a layer of white gesso, except for the arrows and the camera.

It was so much fun coloring the chippies. I used Americana Acrylic paints to match the background paper.
Isn't the little passport adorable? And the suitcases are amazing with their handles and locks.

All the different travel icons are stunning.

I raised some of the chippies on foam tape.

To finish off my layout I added enamel dots and,  splatters with diluted white gesso.

Dusty Attic products used.

Thank you for visiting the blog.

Happy crafting!
