This Was Super Fun - Jen Burns - Mood Board Inspiration

  

How awesome does this Tree Climb walk look right at our own backdoor at Yanchep National Park? Kyden and his Brothers had "Super Fun" 
The new 3Quarter Designs with Dusty Attic new collection called "Incredible Journeys" is perfect for these photos.

I have started with one of the new awesome Collage Frameworks Frames and painted with Stamperia Grey paint Dark to light Ombre style with dry brushing some light highlights. I have also painted the Hexagons by Nuneka the same way and added them to the sides of the framework.

The Toadstools pack 1 and 2 have been painted to look like mushrooms and layered at the bottom Cluster along with some foliage and mini Cobblestones.

"This was Super Fun" title was painted with Stamperia paints in an ombre fashion starting with Tortora at the top then Cappuccino and finished with Mattone which has also been used to paint the mini Filmstrips. Super Gold has been dry brushed over the top to add highlights.

 Hello!

 

 I was inspired to create a new magical shadow frame, where I used some beautiful chipboards in nature look.

 Love these designs inspired by nature and you can find a lot of them at Dusty Attic.

(the added paper elements are from the Magic Forest collection by Stamperia)

 

 I used this magical  Gothic Arch

as frame in 3d look, that means I glued one part in background and the other on the front part of the shadow frame.

 For an old weathered look I use a crackle medium  with white gesso and some brown tones.

All other chipboards were first primed white gesso and then painted  with various brown acrylic paints. after drying, some highlights were set with white acrylic paint using an old wide dry brush

Wild at Heart - Rikki G - Mood Board Inspiration

 Good morning how are you?  Nearing the end of another month, and as promised at the start of the month, I have a process video showing how I start a basic interactive layout. 

I love interactive layout as they allow you to add journaling (which I add after so my family has some hidden things out of the public eye), and the advantage is you get the best off both worlds with a nice single photo layout while having plenty of other photos.

My process is a little backwards sometimes, I tend to create spaces for photos before I worry about adding the photos. This allows me to get more creative with the art of it......

Once again this layout style is perfect for using the left over bits and pieces like the Dusty Attic Toadstools.

Good Morning how are you? Well its May and the weather is turning here it the Southern Hemisphere and that is the perfect inspiration for this months Dusty Attic Moodboard.

What do you love about  the change of Seasons?

Heres my take on this months Moodboard and its an interactive layout, heres also a little flip through so you can see all its layers and how to stack it with heaps of photos.

These interactive layouts are a great way to add photos from events and also a great way to use small bits and pieces of Dusty Attic Chipboard that you will have left over, so perfect for those incomplete sets.

When working through your layers of the layout, dont forget to show the next level with a little bit of your Dusty Attic Chipboard showing though in little peak a boo bits.

I hope this has inspired you to get interactive with you  layouts, stay tuned for later in the month where I will show you on how to start making a basic interactive layout.
