Un jour a la fois - Pascale B Scrap - Mood Board Inspiration (Take one day at a time...)

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm on Dusty Attic blog with a mixed media panel inspired by our beautiful August mood board. I chose another vintage photo from my postcard collection.

Isn't it lovely?

I primed all the chipboards with white gesso. Then, then I covered a canvas cardboard with a paper which I covered with clear gesso.

Next, I started to build my composition. I started with the Cherry Blossom and the Industrial Cluster #7. I continued by adding smaller elements like Botanic Mix elements, then some Cogs.

I sprinkle the composition with mika powders and sprayed with water. Next, I mixed mica powders with lliqui acrylic fluid to make them permanent. I painted the chipboards with these homemade paints.

Next, I highlighted the details with Old Silver and White Gold waxes. I added splatters of the darker color.

To finish, I added glitter

Profiter de l instant present (Enjoy the Moment) - Pascale B Scrap

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Dusty Attic blog with a new mixed media panel.

I glued a piece of tissue paper on the lower half of the panel. Next, I added a design with modelling paste and the Flourish stencil. Finally, I paint the upper half of the panel with Dark Chocolate and Eggplant Impasto.

I primed all the embellishments chipboards, resin and metallic elements, with black gesso. When done, I glued them with a few branches to the panel.

I painted the embellishments with different metallique paints from dark purple to dark gold to add different shades. When dry, I highlighted some details from the background and from the embellishments with Aged Brass, White Gold, and White Pearl waxes.

I painted the title from the French Worpl@y # with the Black Berry paints and I added some waxes as well. I added also a few leaves die-cut in a kraft cardboard.

I painted some pebbles with the dark gold. To finish, I added some glitters, microbeads, and mica flakes.

Moment De jole (Joyful Moment) - Kareen Dion

Hello everyone!
Today, I'm sharing a layout with colors that I don't really use that often.
I don't if it's because I find black too dark or because ... I don't know!!
But I always love the combination of the black/red/white.

I really love that Dusty Attic offers French titles and quotes. Here I used the
"French Mini Captions #7" and the quotes from the "French Wordpl@y BLACK #1".

Under the paper with writings, you can see that I added a border chipboard "Fancy Trim #18".
I simply painted it in black and put some white gesso on it.

And I also used the "Tropical Foliage #10" that I've painted with watercolor and a put
a little bit of white gesso on it.

And a last close-up :

Precieux Souvenirs - Kareen Dion

Hello everyone!

Today I'm sharing with you a layout with some beautiful chippies!
They are so easy to work with and they embellish your layouts perfectly!

I used the "Tea Leaves small" that I embossed with embossing powder.

I used the "French Wordpl@y" as quotes and titles for my layout.
I simply apply white paint on it and a little bit of teal watercolor.

And I also used the frame "ATC Frame #7" that I also used embossing powder on it.

So that's it for me today and I hope you will be super creative!
Thank you for stopping by!

"Prendre le temps" - Kareen Dion

Hello everyone!
Today I'm sharing with you a layout using a chipboard
that I really find amazing but I was intimidated by this Ornate Circles #2.
So I decided to cut a part of it and to use it only in a part of my page.
I embossed it with embossing powder.

Some close-ups :
I used a French title "Prendre le temps" from French Mini Captions #7.
I apply white paint first until I was satisfied with the white on the chipboard.
Then I put a little embossing powder on the word "Prendre", only on this word.
I wanted to keep the rest of it white.

I also incorporated some "Swirly Flourish", I also embossed them with embossing
powder, but a blue shade a little bit lighter than my Ornate Circle #2.

And a little bit more close-ups :
