Beautiful - Kavitha - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello Dusty attic fans,

Today i would like share my layout based on the gorgeous February mood board.The warm colors and the picture inspired me to make a girly yet grungy layout.I have used quiet a lot of chipboard pieces to

form my composition

The background is done with lots of stamping and

coloring in a bit fuzzy way.

All the chip board pieces are treated with two colors of metallic embossing powder in shades of copper,

gold,teal etc

Timeless - Mary Tzalla - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello Dusty Attic fans!

Today I'm back with a new layout made with lots of beautiful chipboards and flowers on the earthy tones of grey, beige and brown inspired by our February moodboard.

I used a 7dots Studio paper
for my background and I created texture with modeling paste and the Dusty Attic ''Damask #2'' Stencil. Then, I added color with a Lindy's spray and made some random stamping.

Next, I painted the chipboards from the ''Foliage #15'' with the Finnabair Rustic
Brown acrylic paint.

The ''Heraldry Motif'' and the ''Mini Clock Faces'' were also painted the Finnabair Silver Spoon paint. As a title I choose the word Timeless from the ''Mini Tags #3 BLACK''.

When everything was glued down I added some art stones and made splatters with white ink.

Love and be Loved - Patricia Basson - Mood Board Inspiration

Good Day Blogger Friends...

This months Colour scheme for the Dusty Attic Moodboard is just right up my alley! Gorgeous muted, earthy tones.

I had the perfect Embroidery threads and papers from 13@rts to create my page. The papers used are, Something Borrowed, Something Blue and Bridesmaid Dress from the Vintage Summer Collection. The photo is from Pinterest...

I began my page by hand-stitching on several layers. Also did a little stencil work using texture paste coloured with Infusion Stains, Emerald Isle, Royal Blood and The Sage to get the correct shade.

The two Dusty Attic pieces, Antique Frame and Ivy Corner #2 were coloured with several shades of Green, Beige and Champagne Acrylic paints. Also sprayed a little Lindy's Stampgang sprays on them.

The Title Chippy was swiped with some Hickory Smoke Distress Ink.

Hello dear Dusty FANattics!

Love these gorgeous colours and hues of this months nature

inspired mood board. Here is my take on the February challenge.

Inspired by the nature theme of this mood board I decided

to alter a photo frame with a resin door piece as my focal

point together with a tree branch, leaves and beautiful Prima

flowers. I created this piece featuring some pretty Dusty Attic

chipboard. I prepped my frame with black gesso, added some

texture with a stencil and texture paste. I then added some

colour to the background with lovely Prima sprays and Finnabair

metallique paints, impasto paints and rust pastes. The chipboard

pieces have been painted with metallique paints, impasto paints

and rust pastes too and then heat embossed randomly with some

embossing powders. I added some butterflies and leaf images that

I stamped and fussy cut. I then added some art stones and micro

beads for extra texture. I randomly added some paint splatters

and vintage melange. I then highlighted the frame and some

of the elements with white gold wax.

Picture Perfect - Aleksandra Mihelic - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello dear Dusty Attic friends and fans :)

It's my turn today again to bring you some inspiration for this month's Dusty Attic gorgeous Moodboard. Did you see it all ready?

I love the cold tones against a warm contrast and the outdoor feeling it brings. I decided to make a canvas with a gorgeous photo, featuring the same color combination. I love it! It's such a serene and peaceful photo.

I dressed my canvas actually in a leftover piece of wall tapestry with wood pattern. I added some golden-brown and sunny-yellow touches with sprays. I colored the Nautical frame chipboard piece with Finnabair texture fantasy pastes and adhere them on the canvas, then added a photo in the middle. I used several additional chipboard pieces which I colored with several Lindy's gang sprays and Finnabair rust pastes. For the finishing touch I added few white splatters with diluted acrylic paint.
