Lynette here, welcome to the blog today. I have the pleasure of sharing some inspiration for August.  My favourite place is the beach.  This photo documents our first visit to the beach when restrictions were lifted in February 2021. I used papers from the Penelope Dee Paradise collection.  So good to feel the sand between our toes again.

I used a very simple design for this page and went back to one of my passions...that is stitching on my pages.  The seagulls were painted with white acrylic paint.

This mini jelly fish are just adorable.  I painted it with white acrylic paint and then just added touches of blue and pink to it.

The fish net was painted with acrylic brown paint and the sea grass and shells were first painted white and then with touches of pink and blue acrylic paint.  The title was heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Again the fish net was painted with brown acrylic paint and the shells and seagull with white acrylic paint the shells were touched with blue and pink paint and the seagull was shaded with Oxide ink in Hickory Smoke.

Altered Wooden Box - Kasia Salmanowicz - Mood Board Inspiration

 

Hello!

My inspiration is a Woodem box with Dusty Attic chipboard. The October moodboard
delighted me with colors, which is why I decided to use most of them to color
my project.

At the beginning I covered the whole box with a thin layer of white gesso. Later I glued chipboard. I choose two sets for this, which of course you will find in Dusty Attic store. This time I cut them very much to fit the whole composition.
I also added a few other elements, such as clay decorative elements a few cogs
made of hdf material and metal.

I also secued all chipboard with white gesso so that they would not absorb water. It is very important in mixed media projects. Then I used liquid acrylic paint with  the addition of water to make the colors
softly blur.  At the end I whitened some
elements and splashed with the previously used colors.

Hello!

Did You see this all new and beautiful Dusty Attic products? 

I had this opportunity to have another Dt package, where I found a lot of new patterns. It’s hard to decide, what I should use at first. I choose my favourite gear pattern products ;)),

base in big tag shape, to that a clock face and a lot of cogs. 

At first I covered every element with white acrylic paint, then I glued  everything with Heavy Body Gel. I was trying  to make a lot of layers, that’s why I used some pieces of cardboard. I added

ribbon, metal accents and I painted everything with acrylic paints. Like always I whitened corners, added stamps and splashed all with white and black acrylic

paint with some water.

Hello Dusty FanAttics!!

Today I want to share my moodboard inspiartion with you.

July is already here and summer is hot hot here in Bulgaria. So my inspiration came from sea and sand and all beach themed things.

I used Old Walls Texture Paste and Aged Brass Wax by Finnabair on my chipboards.

My background was created with White Sand Texture Paste and White Crackle Paste. 

I stamped with different stamps for some more texture and then added cheesecloth and my chippies.

Hello everyone!!

I created a layout as my second project this month.

Using two gorgeous pieces from Timeless chipboard mix, some leaves and a background piece was all I needed to create this one.

I used texture paste on my chipboards and of course - waxes.
