Great Outdoors - Adri du Preez

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing a layout with you using a photo of my husband. I have so much appreciation for him and love him madly!  He knows scrapbooking is my passion and is always so willing to pose for photos.

Here is my layout.

This is how I coloured the chipboard pieces .

I love the Reeds, and they are perfect for this photo. The Reeds, Grass Cluster, Sea Grass were all treated the same way.
The flowers of the Reeds was first covered with coarse gesso.  Once dry, I covered the rest of the Reeds with white gesso. The flowers were painted with brown acrylic paint and the leaves and stems with shades of green.  I then dry brushed the Reeds with white, gold, white and rust acrylic paint.

How super cute are these Toad Stools. The stems were first covered with coarse gesso.  Once dry, I covered it with white gesso, the with beige and brown acrylic paint. I inked the coarse parts with a brown ink pad and the edges with black.

I inked the tiny bird nest with Brilliance Chocolate.
I had this spider and web for many years and is perfect for this outdoor layout. The spider and web as well as the title were coloured with black acrylic paint.

I covered the Bard Wire Circle with Rust Effect Paste and dry brushed with white acrylic paint and Bronze Ages Metallique wax.
The Wood Slices and Drift Wood were inked in brown and black.

These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I used.
