Memories that last a Lifetime - Tina Ollett

Hello and welcome!
Tina O here with you today to share my interpretation of this month's Moodboard at The Dusty Attic. You have until the end of the month to join in and be in the running to win a wonderful $100 prize of Dusty Attic chipboards of your choice. All you need do is create a project with as many elements from the moodboard as you wish and upload to the gallery.

My interpretation.........

"It's the little memories that will last a lifetime"

And this is the stunning August Moodboard. Agree?

I have used some very favourite pieces of Dusty Chippies here, some new and some old.....but my go to pieces to create at present would have to be the newest Word Strip Sentiments. These sentiments are heartfelt and very much how I feel about this particular photo.

My background paper was primed with clear gesso firstly and then I created more of the bubbles using the Dusty Attic Bubbles Stencil with their Texture Paste. I dried it off and then mixed the Dusty Acrylic Paints (Oceania and Mountain Meadows) with  gesso and water to make a thin consistency. It was then painted around the page.

I have also used a Baroque Corner cut up as flourishes for my flower clusters.

The corrugated card was torn to create a background. It was layered up with strips of the 13arts patterned paper, corrugated card and chipboards. I gave the corrugated card a white washing with a dry brushing of gesso.

My other chipboards were inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and then painted with random dabbings of the acrylic paints and gesso.

The beautiful 49andMarket Blooms were coloured using the Dusty Attic Acrylic Paints. They were given a couple of coats and still retained their shape.

And from another view. I have also used some of the new Dusty Attic Pearls to adorn the
Ornate Pendant.

And below are all the Dusty Attic gorgeous goodies that I used to create this project.

Well that is all from me today. I hope I have inspired you in some small way to give this month's moodboard challenge a try.

Until next time ....happy scrapping and take care.
