Treasure - Tina Ollett - Mood Board Inspiration

Hi all.

Tina O with you here today. I am sharing my interpretation of the oh so gorgeous Mood Board challenge for March. The challenge has a wonderful prize of $100 voucher from  Dusty Attic. Its easy to play along, just interpret the board anyway you like. It can be an off the page project or layout but you will need to use some Dusty Attic goodness to be in the running for this great prize! Just add your link to the right side bar of the Dusty Attic Blog.

This is my interpretation of the Moodboard. I have titled this layout "Treasure".

For my background I have used some very elegant and beautiful paper from 7 Dots Studio's "Thoughts Keeper" collection (no.5). I dressed the patterned paper with clear gesso. I have also done some stenciling using the Dusty Attic Creative Script Stencil and Platinum Crackle Texture Paste from Prima Marketing Inc. This gives the page a shiny look.....and to keep in with the prettiness of it all I have also spritzed the background paper with a little Colour Blast Colour Spray in Leather....ooooooooooooh so very pretty!!!

The very elegant Ornate Frame (the smaller one of the set) and the Scrolls have simply been dressed in the Platinum Crackle Texture Paste too. Once these were then dried and had cracked I spritzed over each chipboard piece with the Leather Colour Blast  Colour Spray and wiped away the excess.

The Dusty Attic Skeleton Clocks have been a favourite of mine since the time I discovered chipboard. They are just delectable. These have been  cut and place around the layout after being simply dressed in a little Liquid Pearls Black Onyx. The colour of the Black Onyx liquid pearls is a subtle black which is in keeping with a vintage style layout.

I have also used some of Prima's Engraver Collection embellishments to help co-ordinate with the remainder of the layout. I have twisted up some black beaded branches and laid them upon the Ornate frame to help keep the photo the focus of the layout.

And from another view. I have tucked in a little cheesecloth so the chipboards didn't blend with my background paper too much. And lastly a few droplets of Dylusions White Linen Spray.Tina Ollett
Well that is all from me today. I hope I have inspired you in some way to give this months Moodboard Challenge a go!
You will find below a complete materials list for this layout.
Until next time ......happy scrapping.
Tina x
