Our Angel - Canvas - Joanne Bain

Howdy Peeps!!

Joanne here with you today sharing my another altered canvas, this time it is of my darling daughter. I once again wanted bucket loads of dimension on the canvas so I added quiet a bit of gorgeous Dusty Attic chipboard. Really can you ever have to much?

'Our Angel'

I simply adore the the Dusty wings and feathers and love doubling them up for added dimension or wetting them and pulling them apart.

I love how the wing layers sit once pulled apart and dryed. I have once again applied texture paste roughly to most chipboard pieces and painted all with gesso.

I went for softer colours on this canvas to make it very feminine. To finish off I gave the canvas a sprinkling of pearls, butterflies and some beautiful Prima flowers.
