Jennifer Hedger

Hi there, my name is HEATHER JACOB.
Firstly I am so honoured, thrilled and delighted to be invited to join the fabulous team
Thank you so much Jen for inviting me .
Now a little about me, I am happily married to my wonderful, supportive “soul mate” Baden and my Family feature throughout my work and there is nothing more important to me  than my family. and glorious words.
To me this craft is the perfect combination of art, photography, beautiful paper,
I especially love to choose some elements, cast a spell and see what happens,
to create a dream and follow it through. Subtle shadows, light and color are all
ingredients for casting the spell. I am in harmony with my garden and its inhabitants,
connecting with the beauty that surrounds me. For me it is all-consuming, inspiring
and a natural expression of my inner self, which I love to weave into my works.
I love to include stitching, chipboard, journaling, muslin, fabrics, metal elements,
inking, masking and texture paste, getting all messy bringing out the kid in me
OTP projects and altered art are faves of mine. I see my style as “CLASSIC”
with large amounts of layering and attention to detail…I tend to lean toward
monochromatic themes with a little shabby chic/grunge thrown in ..
I feel very blessed to be on design teams and I have work published in
Scrapbooking Memories, Scrapbook Creations, Australian Scrapbook Ideas,
Somerset Memories, Somerset Apprentice, Somerset Studio, Scrap 365, and I am inspired by colour and texture …
Carnets De Scrap.
Warm hugz from Heather x
My Blogs

Hi. My name is Heather McMahon and I’m thrilled to be a part of The
Dusty Attic design team. I began scrapping about 15 years ago but I have only
been able to dedicate enough time to it in the last few years since my kids have
got older. I love the way this craft enables us to play while recording our family
stories at the same time. I tend to experiment with all sorts of styles.
I mainly create layouts but love doing off-the-page projects and cards as well.
At the moment I love arty styles – lots of paint, texture paste,
chippy and stencils – but ask me in another few months and it
could be something totally different!

My name is Nadia Cannizzo, I am 35 and I live in Sydney, Australia. I was born and raised in Greece, and I have been married to my Italian husband for 14 years now, and that is where my surname comes from! I have 3 young MUCH loved and MUCH wanted daughters, Maria Elena (6 ) and Ioanna (4) and my precious miracle baby Sofia who is just 6 months old. . Being a mum is what I always wanted to be and nothing fulfills me more than my children. By day I am a Primary School teacher, which I absolutely LOVE and at the moment I am working part time. I started scrapping about 3 years ago and consider this craft to be the longest hobby I have ever had! I am a Gemini after all , and can't really stay interested in anything for very long. When not creating, I absolutely LOVE cooking, spending time with my family, and ...believe it or not cleaning! I am a bit of a clean freak. My motto in life is "Nothing is impossible" !and I rarely take no for an answer :)

Nadia is also doing all of the Dusty Attic Sketch challenges
for us this year and has a challenge blog called Once Upon A Sketch

Just me, mum to three great kids, (most of the time) and wife to another, (yep he's a big kid) and Grandie(De De)to my new pride and joy, my grandaughter Cadence. I love all things creative, I love to play with mixed media and whatever takes my fancy at the time but especially paper. I love to reuse, repurpose and recycle. I'm not scared to get my hands dirty, whether it be with glue, paint or other mediums or by rummaging through rusty metal and old stuff to find treasures. I hope you can find inspiration in what I love, as well as take a look behind the scenes as I share another part of my life - my family and friends and what they might be up too.

Hi, my name is Gabrielle Pollacco, I'm an avid scrapper, married mom of 2 girls and one scruffy Labradoodle.  I've been scrapping for about 8 years now and have really come to love this artform and love to share my work and ideas through video tutorials.  I am on a number of design teams including Websters Pages, Bo Bunny, Maja Design, Scrap365, and am a sponsored designer for My Little Yellow Bicycle, Tresors de Luxe and The Scrapbook Diaries.  I have been on the Dusty Attic design team for a number of years now and am proud and honored to be on the team for another year! xo

I am so happy to stay with Dusty Attic for another year! I'm Helena Johansson and I'm from Sweden. I'm 41 years old and live with my dh and our two children, 12 and 8 years old. I have been scrapping for almost 7 years and I can't imagine that I will ever quit. Scrapbooking is such a big part of my life, I have met so many beautiful friends through this hobby and creating is like therapy for me.
I mostly do 12x12 layouts, but I also make cards or alter from time to time. My style is romantic and shabby with a touch of vintage. I love when there's a lot to look at on a layout, and I put a lot of time into details. I adore Dusty Attic chipboard and I don't think I can create anything without some DA on it! Chipboard is the perfect embellishment, there is just so much you can do!
When I'm not creating, I'm working or spending time with my family. I work full time as a socialworker, and it's quite stressful from time to time. When I get home from work I often spend a little time in my scraproom to clear my mind. My little daughter loves scrapbooking too, and it's fun having the possibility to share this fantastic hobby with her.
Some fun facts about me: I'm not very fond of chocolate (strange, I know!), I love to sing in the car, in our family we also have two cats - their names are Kim and Socks, I am addicted to coffee but try to cut down, I love doing laundry but hate doing the dishes, I'm afraid of ants (it's not a fobia, but you rarely see just one ant - they come in thousands!).

Dusty Attic Design Team
I am a full time Office Manager at a Pasta Company.
I live in Ashby WA, Married to an awesome man
(I know we all say that !LOL) Anthony. We have three big wonderful
boys (20-19 & 17) and our oldest has a wonderful girlfriend Nicola
- Yayyyy I get to scrap GIRLY layouts as well !!!
I also am Tutu to my darling little 2 and half year old nephew Kyden
He is my little ray of Sunshine - Love that boy to bits
I have been scrapping for years and years and  love all aspects of it ...
Off the Page, Layouts, ATC's and I am loving the
Pocket sleeve way of scrapping at the moment as well
(Project Life style)

I started scrapbooking in 2004 when my middle son Erlendur asked me to help him with his grade 12 language arts "memory book" assignment.
I scrapbooked like most people do,hauling all of my stuff out of
the spare bedroom,to scrapbook in the kitchen, then hauled it back
to the spare bedroom. Then I came up with the idea, why not make
my living room dining room into a scrapbooking room. You see we
never did use that room, Once I made this into a scrapbooking
room it was used all the time. I don't feel that I need to say a lot
about myself as you are going to be able to figure me out through
all of my layouts.

Hi, my name is Vicky Alberto (aka Simply Paper on some gallery sites) and I live in Alberta, Canada with my husband and three children. After having my last child, I decided not to return to a corporate marketing job so I could raise my three young children for a while. With ten years of experience in the marketing industry, scrapbooking was a natural extension of my work world and fills a creative void. I am now addicted to this fantastic art form that I will embrace for the rest of my life.

My blog address is where I chat about my work, the fantastic companies I am honoured to design for, and share my tutorials. I have been blogging for three years and am overwhelmed that I already have so many wonderful followers. This industry has such a deeply supportive and kind online network of ladies. I have “met” the most amazing people from all over the world through various online communities and have had the opportunity to "work" with some of the most talented ladies in the industry.

I am thrilled to have been asked to design for Dusty Attic for a second year!
