Anat here to share my August mood board challenge project.

This Moodboard is one of the most stunning Moodboards ever!! I love it so much I feel like making many projects with it LOL.

My Project is a Huge Clay Frame, made with a Silicone mould. In the center I inserted Embossed paper, embellished with gorgeous Dusy Attic's chippies. I prime it with Vlack Gesso and than painted it trying to give it the sunset colors. I took Impasto Paints and added to them 3D powder which gave them a sandy texture.

The chipboards were also painted with the same mixture of Impasto+3D powder. On the Mini Shells #2 I added a bit of Ivory Embossing Powder to imitate Sand.

Did you see this New swirlls? I'm in love!

Hope you like it and wish to see your creations in the challenge!

Milk Monster - Belinda Spencer - Mood Board Inspiration

Hi Dusty FANattics!!

Belinda here today to share my take on the gorgeous August Mood Board.

'Milk Monster'

I chose to use the dark brown in the mood board for my background allowing the other brighter colours to pop.

Here's a reminder of the mood board:

So pretty right?!

I chose the NEW Distressed Grid Broken Bits for this layout specifically so I could paint the splats with white gesso to look like milk to match the photo of my little man messing about with his milk.

I added lots of layers of matching patterned paper under my photo and tucked in a bunch of tickets, page tabs, flowers and stickers etc.

I used the NEW Alphabet Jumble for the 'Milk' title. I LOVE the random heights and styles of the letters for my titles. I painted the 'milk' with a mix of Capri and Oceania Dusty in Colour paints with some white gesso mixed in.

The Dusty Attic products used:

DA0912 Dusty in Colour Oceania
DA0915 Dusty in Colour Capri

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today. I do hope you find some time to play with the mood board too this month.

Cheers
Belinda

Discover - Julia Ost - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello dear friends!
Today I have a new mood board inspiration for you.

This palette with the colours of the sunset have brought about my sea mood and I wanted to sail the boat across the waves of my creativity.

I created a multilayered canvas where I  made the background picture through the stencil from Dusty Attic and added their amazing and perfectly matching chipboard. I painted it with color ink-pads and sprays from Lindy’s.

Small shells, stones, toppings and drops of paint enhanced my layout and made it look complete.
My sailboat is riding the waves of my sweet tropical holiday memories!

Here I used:

I hope you enjoy my work!

Cheers,

Julia Ost

Juliette Frame - Kasia Salmanowicz - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello crafty people!

This time I have for you a pastel project with new chipboard from Dusty Attic. I decorated a simple, plastic frame inspired by the moodboard for August. There is a pink, blue and a bit of brown so I worked very well with it.

At the beginning I secured the frame with white gesso. I did the same with all decorative elements that were in this composition. I glued everything with a heavy body gel. I used three shades of acrylic paints that I mixed with water. As always, I whitened the entire project after drying.

Finally, I splashed the frame with the paints that were used. I gently outlined the contours of the black gesso and added small stamps in several places.
