HelloDusty attic fans,

Kavitha here today with my mood board inspiration.To be honest i would never have used these colors together,but the mood board looks absolutely gorgeous and so spring-ish .I made a baby layout,so made the color tones softer.The papers are from Lemoncraft,i added a bit of color where i am going to compose my design using distress inks and added modelling paste through leafy and spark stencils and sprinkled blue glitter over it.

 

All my chippies are treated with yellow and blue embossing powders.I added bubble design behind the photo,heart swirly among-st the flowers and flower buds on either side of the photo.

School Days - Gerry Van Gent - April Mood board Inspiration

Hello crafty friends!

This is Gerry sharing with you my latest project created with our awesome Dusty Attic products. My canvas layout is based on this month's moodboard which screams Spring. I took the washed out 

path to my take and I love how it turned out.

I bet you have already seen the latest chippie release. What a variety of 

chipboards and what a fabulous shapes they all have.

For this project I mixed school, office supplies and industrial shapes.

The paper clips are so cute and look so real! 

I painted one of the Industrial Borders using two colours. Then I added as a final touch a gem stone.

The Industrial Border #2 was painted also with two colours.

I cut it into two parts and used one part to decorate the photo and the other part I placed on top right corner.

Love this MEMORY - Tina Ollett

Hello and welcome back to the Dusty Attic home of gorgeous chipboards.

Tina with you today . 

  "Love this MEMORY"....

I started my project off by priming papers from Maja Designs Vintage Spring Basics collection. I have used the spotted blue piece for my background and did some stencilling using the Lattice stencil and Dusty Attic texture paste.

     

I also did some colouring using Pasteez and Spritz's. 

 Fancy Frames #3

These were used to frame my photo and paper mattings. They were firstly Crackled in a white and then coloured randomly. They were cut to fit around my frame and clusters as you can see below.

I have also used another new release for this project. The title "love this MEMORY". It is one of the New IMPACT titles that was released at the beginning of the month. This was dressed in white acrylic and for the larger alphas I coloured them in the green and blue. They were all treated with a touch of Star Dust Stickles to make it pretty!!

Above you can see the coloured title and the textures made using Dusty Attics Texture Paste.

And above and below the chipboards I have used. The Baroque Corners are a huge favourite of mine. I have placed these back to back and then clustered my 49andMarket flowers and shells in the centre.

Below you can see the chains. I love to layer as you can see. I broke the chains into pieces and glued them in such a way that it looks like the chain is going through the whole project.

I have also used the mini ships wheel in my clusters. These are so cute and a great little chippie for the extra embellishment of clusters.

Totally Love this and Paradise Found - Michelle Carrick - April Mood Board inspiration x 2

Good morning beautiful people!!

I am back with my interpretation of the April mood board challenge. 

Very bold and bright!

So this is my heart, this little boy 

loves his mom so much that I must pay him attention 24/7.

If I don’t this is how he gets my attention! LOL

Using a dot and coffee stencil, I created 

the back ground, using Tim Holtz-Back soot ink and Prima yellow rust paste. 

I then fussy cut tags, added netting.

I found daises flowers as well as little birdie (Celebr8) flowers.

I also added corrugated board to add texture.

This is my second take on the Mood Board challenge. 
I found this photo of Marilyn Monroe on the net and decided to tone this one down.

This photo needed something beautiful just like Marilyn.

The back ground paper is from Kaisercraft and using a script stamp, lightly stamped with Tim Holtz- Pumice stone ink. 

I used the new Prima Acrylic paints - Deep
waters to colour my gauze and Pure Sunshine for the netting.

I added bark form my palm tree, some dried roots, 

as well as sea sand and shells.
Including a star fish.

Using the Prima Metallique – Deep waters and 

All-Purpose champagne ink. 

 I painted all my Dusty Attic Chippies!

I added one Yellow flower from Prima.
