Hi, friends! These winter months are full of cozy evenings and books. So I can't stop crafting and redesigning covers. This one is about angels and demons and about their fighting inside every person.

Slimline Card Set - Joanne Simons
Hello and welcome! I hope you are well.
Today I am sharing a couple of cards I created.
I am really enjoying the whole slimline card craze at the moment and with the beautiful Dusty chippy they make creating a breeze!
These cards were super easy to do. I simply layered some paper on a white card base and then laid some flowers onto the medallions #1. All the chipboard I covered with distress oxide ink. Before I adhered it to my card I tucked in some of the gingko biloba. I finished it with a sweet sentiment from a of different word packs.
Here is a closer look at the card.
My second card I created in pretty much the same way. Instead this time I added foliage 24 and one of the ATC frames #8.

Card Set - Joanne Simons
Hello and welcome Dusty FANattics!
It's Jo here with you today to share with you a couple of cards I have created.
I have been really enjoying making cards lately and have been gravitating to the DL size ones.
I tried something a little different and had a go at "getting my grunge" on.
For my first card I used some rust effects paste to give my Industrial border some texture.
The Marakesh broken bits I heat embossed with an embossing powder that had a little bit of glitter in for a textured look too.
For the medallion in the middle which my butterfly sits on - I also heat embossed this to give i a bit of a glossy look then went over it with some Prima wax to make it look a little like metal.
For my second card I used the industrial pipes and rubbed some black ink in spots of the chipboard. Again I used the rust effects paste for the cogs and some embossing folder for the fishing net .
The papers are from Scrapboys collection called Industrial Romance.

Happy - Kareen Dion
Hello everyone!
I hope that you are doing well! Today, I'm sharing a layout using some chippies.
I took my favorite color that I love to create with : purple.
On the background of my layout, I cut a big frame : Ornate Circle #2.
I cut it and embossed it with white embossing powder.
I used a little anchor from the set : Anchor #2. I also embossed it with white embossing powder. And I put a title from the Mini Titles #2 – Perfect.
I added a quote, I love the Dusty Attic's quotes, they are so perfect for any projects.
This one is from the Quoted Sentiments #4. And behind from my photo,
I used a little medallion : Medallion #2.
And a last close-up :

Madeira 2019, Kerstin Filou - Mood Board Inspiraiton
Welcome creative friends!
Today a new inspiration for our romance May Moodboard by Dusty Attic.
I was inspired to create a mixed media layout as memory on a beautiful vacation last year to Madeira, it's a beautiful island situated in the north Atlantic
Ocean.
We visited the Flower Festival in spring.
There was an enchanting flower parade, where people danced happily through the streets.
A sea of colours, shapes and scents, simply unforgettably beautiful.
To enter the challenge just add your own take in the comments section of the Dusty FANattics Facebook page (so easy to enter) this is for your chance to win one of two amazing chipboard packs.

Breathtaking - Kristy Abela
Hey Hey Attic Lovers!
Welcome back!!
I have a new Layout this month. I have had this image for a while and I really wanted to find something to capture the wonder. Well, thanks to some Chipboard designed by the lovely Jennifer at Dusty Attic I could finally do it justice.
I was really naughty this month and I was so caught up in the project...
I forgot to take progress shots. I will make it up to you.. Promise!
I used every product under the sun playing with my Chip board and stencil. Each one has been decorated differently.
I find that it creates a lot of interest and keeps drawing my eye back to look for more. Shows how versatile chip board really is.
To start I used my Damask stencil to lift the background with some shimmery paste. While that was drying, I used my chalk paints for Breathtaking and my Monarch Butterfly applying them with a sponge. On the butterfly I added layer upon layer to create a fade and then dazzled them with a little wax.
For my Tea Leaves I used the chalk paint as a base and used my (sadly discontinued) Dusty Crackle Glaze to finish them off. I did this in another project called Brotherly Love and fell in love with the effect. You can check it out by following the link.
I used gilding flakes on the Medallions in a gorgeous Verdi Gris.
The beautiful Paisley Flourishes (So Boho) were done in a metallic paint. I was sure to not apply it smoothly as I really wanted some texture in there so I could highlight them with my Waxes.. (Again)
I finished it off with some Flowers in Bloom, Sisal and some of my (newest) favourite boho mandala stamps.

Together Forever - Anat Weksler
Hello crafty friends!
Anat here today with a special project - a Heart decor with my parents picture.
Last month my parents celebrated their marriage anniversary so I've created this Heart for them, using a picture I love.
For the Background I used tissue paper, covered it with soft gel and colored using Red and Dark Brown Acohol Inks. I added texture with texture paste and stencil and when dry brushed it with metalique waxes.
I painted the Medallion#2 the Ornate Pendants #3 and the Metalique flowers with Finnabair Metalique Brass Hardware acrylic paint.
The Foliage #15 and Corner Flourish #2 were painted with Powder Blue from Finnabair Nrothern Light Rust Paste Set and Bronze Age wax was gently rubbed on it.
Fot my parents picture I covered the ATC Frame #7 with the Turquoise from Finnabair Nrothern Light Rust Paste Set and used on top Stampendous Aged Green Embossing Powder.
After I assembled all chipboard I added 49 & Market flowers and Finnabair Gold Microbeads and Finnabair Copper Glass Glitter. I Added small cabuchons colored with alcohol ink.
Last step was to color the "Happy together" from Wordpl@y #4 set, with Lindy's Shabby Turbine Teal Spray and rubb Bronze Age wax.
Thanks for stopping by!
xoxo
