Amour - Valerie Ouelett

Hi everyone!

Here is my layout inspired by the Dusty Attic moodboard this month. I was very inspired by the orange tone and the flower bouquets.

I used 2 tones of green to paint my chipboard leaves. I love the effect of paint on a chipboard.

The title is a piece from the new french words "Ensemble Amour".

"Foliage 8"

"Ensemble Amour"

I covered the industrial hearts with Prima Sand Paste and Lindy's spray ink to add a beautiful texture.

Hello Dusty Friends

Today I am sharing with you a layout inspired by Dusty Attic moodboard for the month of May.
I just Love the fresh colours the moodboard offers. I mixed various of chipboard for my project.

On this photo my daughter is busy with crafting so adding that cute little scissors chipboard makes my title complete.

PRODUCTS  USED:

Most of the chipboard was painted in white in order to make it pop up.

I painted the Bubbles chipboard with Navajo White paint.

Then I used a pink marker to colour it in.

I used a green marker to colour the top part of the Industrial Globe.

To give some more texture I decided to add a paper doily on top
of the Fancy Frame chipboard.

I love the texture the Damask stencil gives to the background.

Smile - Farrel Tailor

Hello Everyone, I am back today to share with you all my take on this month's Dusty Attic mood board challenge. For my inspiration I decided to focus on the gold, yellow and orange tones for my layout.
May Mood board
And this is what I created....... For the paper I decided to use 7 Dot's Studio Cotton Candy range as the tones were perfect for the mood board.
FTailor May Moodboard
For the background I mixed 13arts Ayeeda Inks Yellow and Scarlet to create the orange. I also used Darkroom Door Texture Stamp Numbers with black archival ink.
I covered all my chipboard with white gesso and then painted over the Cog Cluster, Skeleton Clock Face small and Fancy Frames #2. I cut 2 sides from the Fancy Frames and adhered them to the photo along with a tab from Mini Tabs #6.

I then covered the chippy with Prima Watercolor Confections Paints - Tropicals and inked around the edges using a black charcoal ink pad.

For my corner cluster of chipboard I used half of the Skeleton Clock Face small and some cogs from the Cog Cluster. I then added my "memories" word from Wordpl@y #2.
To finish off the layout I used Mini Captions #11 (Love Your Smile). For this I painted white gesso, black gesso and Art Alchemy Paints - Metallique Ancient Coin. Then splattered all over the layout using the same paint.

Gorgeous - Mary Catt

Hello everyone!

Mary here today, sharing with you my layout which was inspired by our gorgeous moodboard.
I was inspired by the beautiful color palette, the
laces and the photos of the flowers and I used lots of them on my project and tried to give an elegant feeling.

Here are some detailed photos...

For my background, I used the ''Sunrise'' paper from the ''Dreamscapes'' 7dots Studio collection. I created texture by applying
modeling paste
through the ''Chicken Wire'' stencil and then, I added colour with the ''Bayou Boogie Gold'' and the ''Cape Cod Coral'' Lindy's Gang sprays.

I continued by painting the ''Swirly Vine #5'' and the ''Foliage #10'' chipboards with the Finnabair ''Golden Moss'' acrylic paint.

The chipboards from the ''Iron Accents #1'' and the ''Iron Garnish #2'' along with the title from the ''Hashtag Sayings #2'' set, were also painted with the Finnabair ''Fresh Orange'' acrylic paint.

To finish, I added art stones and some white glitter and made splatters with white acrylic ink.
