Frozen Freeze Frame - Anguree Van Rensburg

 Hello dear friends 

I am back on the blog today sharing this layout I created with gorgeous 49 And Market papers and an array of gorgeous chippies from our Dusty Attic range.

To get started I tore two pages of contrasting papers and affixed them together using double sided tape. Next I added some modeling paste using a 13@rts stencil.  Once this was dry I added in lace and 49 And Market burlap

I selected various lots of small pieces of chipboard and inked them using black and white Archival ink.

I absolutely love all the new trims and lace designs and you will note that I bended mine to follow the slight contours of my composition.

To finish it off I added a couple of wordplay words and just like this, it was done.

Hello dear Dusty friends

I hope you are all well. I am back on the blog today sharing this layout I created.

You will see I repeated the circle shapes and used a combination of laser cuts images and die-cuts to fill the inside of each chipboard

circle.

I added a leftover piece of Broken Bits 2, in order to add more texture whilst grounding my layout at the same time. To colour my chipboard I've used a combination of Distress Oxide Ink and Versa Inks.

Last but not least I added my photo decorating the area around it with 49And Market flowers and burlap.

Birthday Card set - Anguree Van Rensburg

Hello dearest friends

I am back on the Dusty Attic blog sharing these cards I made using an array of chipboard pieces.

I was inspired by a work friend's birthday and wanted to create something soft and cheerful.

You will note that I kept my inked my Chipboard in white, soft pink and sage to blend in with my colour palette.

As you can see I cut the chicken wire mesh into 3 sessions, splitting  it between both cards.

Adding these small chipboard flowers and leaves provides just the right amount of texture without being overbearing or chipboard heavy.

Such a great day... - Anguree Van Rensburg - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello dear friends

I'm back here today sharing my view on our gorgeous May Moodboard.

As you will see, I used various bits of chipboard and if you look closely you may notice that I cut up the Juliet balcony pieces to create texture strips to suit my layout.

I've coloured my Chipboard using Versa inks and 13@rts ink sprays.

To finish it off I used some of the beautiful new 49And Market flowers and 13@rts 3D Balls.

Last but not least I added a couple of my favorite chipboard wordplay words to reflect happy memories.

Sunshine Moments - Anguree Van Rensburg

Hello dear friends 

I am back on the blog today sharing this layout I created featuring an engagement photo of my cousin and his lovely wife.

I started by covering my page in clear gesso and stamping randomly using a 49And Market stamp and Archival Ink. 

Next on the list was adding layers of chipboard and embellishments and started by selecting a few key pieces that inspired my layout. You will note that I cut up my triangle background so I could position bits all around my photo area to create a bit of texture. To colour my chipboard I've used a combination of 13@rts Pearl and chalk Ink Sprays.

Next I added some roots and 49 And Market Burlap to create a background for my photo. 

I added some scrap chipboard pieces to the back of my photo to strengthen it and raise it up from the embellishments I added.

Last but not least I added a couple of chipboard words and quote to complete.

I am back on the blog today sharing this layout I created using one of our beautifully designed frames and corners in combination with 49 And Market papers and 13@rts  mixed media products.

I started creating a bit of texture using modelling paste and a stencil. Next added a couple layers of gause and laid my chipboard out on top. As you may note I cut the corner chipboard piece in two so I could use on piece at the top of the photo and one down the bottom. I inked both pieces with white versa ink and embossed with a combination of embossing powders.

For the centrepiece I decided to keep the frame white by inking it with white Versa Ink and embossing it with pearl white embossing powder.

Last but not least I added my flower

clusters and other embellishments.

Life is Beautiful - Anguree Van Rensburg

Hello everyone

I'm back today sharing this layout I made for our Moodboard Challenge, using an array of beautiful Dusty Attic Chipboard pieces.

I just loved the gorgeous colours of our Moodboard and thought this photo, taken for our wedding anniversary a couple of years ago, will be absolutely perfect, showcasing the purple and pink colours of the sunset.

To mimic the colours in the photo,  I used a combination of two papers from the new Vintage Artistry Coral and Vintage Artistry Sky Collections by 49 And Market. You will note that I chose to ink all my chipboard pieces in White Brilliance Archival Ink.

I embellished the photo on 2 sides using a combination of various flowers. I then added my title to the bottom and sentiment to the top.
