Full accommodation, your own single bedroom, all meals starting with Friday night dinner, morning and afternoon tea, lots of room to create and a Goody Bag. There will also be classes available along with raffles and giveaways over the weekend. Dusty Attic will have their range of Chippy along with a small shop with speciality papers, ribbons, flowers and adhesives and some new KITS. ALL of this for $350

(Classes are optional and at extra cost)

$100 deposit will be required at registration

Loving this month's VERY sweet mood board:

So I've done a LO of a VERY sweet step-GD, Charlie.

Marking the Saga of the Knotted [dreadlock/bird's nest] hair...

which, when we were up on holidays needed to be cut off.....

by MOI, ex-hairdresser....to say she was under impressed would be

to put it mildly. BUT....she sent me these GORGEOUS photos....

luckily it's still long enough to get into a bun & up style.

That's the story. Here's the photos:

I really wanted to reflect the pretty, light, flowery feel of these photos.

So, I've used some flower & scroll chippies.

WOW July just flew by

We where so busy at Dusty HQ getting ready for the July retreat that we had in Shoalwater. It was such a fun weekend with some absolutely gorgeous ladies !
We had "Superhero Saturday" on the Saturday night as a bit of fun

There is one of Superman and Hulk but I cant show you, it looks like they are doing rude things to each other Hahahaha !!!

Our next retreat is in Muresk

Hello,today I am here to share with you a canvas I did using Dusty Attic's Mood Board for August. I just LOVE the colors in this Mood Board,& had lots of fun playing with this!!!

Here are some closeups of detail.....

One of the first steps for this canvas was gluing on some mesh onto the canvas. I then painted the canvas,using DA paints,denim,cashmere & hot chocolate. My next step was to do some stencil work, I used Shimmerz paints TexureZ Teal me no lies. Once that dried I applied a thick coat of clear crackle onto the canvas....

I painted the chipboard with DA paints, then clear crackle. I sprinkled on micro beads onto the heads of the grass while the crackle was still wet.

I also used some seed beads...

For the glimmer on the canvas I used LuminArts silks acrylic glaze,& H2O's. I just kept playing with the silks to get the shades of colour that I wanted...
