#lifeisgood - Kavitha - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello Dusty attic fans,

Kavitha here today to share my inpsiration based on
this months moodboard.
Since the colors are too dark for me,i chose a very light neutral background
and made a steampunk style layout.

Here is the gorgeous moodboard for this month

Lost Garden - Nadya Drozdova - Mood Board Inspiration - VIDEO TUTORIAL

Hello everyone! Here is Nadya again sharing with you my projects. I was inspired by our Dusty attic March mood board. I love deep green color with red accents. I called this reverse canvas "Lost garden" and also prepared for you a Video tutorial. Whole process you may watch there, hope you like it.

Fearless - Kristy Abela - Mood Board Inspiration

Hi and welcome to Autumn. This mood board for me inspired feelings of bare nature and wooded lands. A compliment to my barren arctic canvas which is my other inspiration for this month.

I dug around in my generous stash of chipboard and found some pieces that I thought fit the theme I had in mind...  I pushed them around on my page until I thought I had a winner.

Here is my thought process while creating... I add and subtract and take 1000 images. My poor phone!!
I used my Dusty Attic Stencil to create some interest in the background. I used my pastes to add coloured texture.

Time to colour my chipboard!
I played around with so many elements. I coloured it with water colour on raw chipboard and compared it to metallic paint.

                 I added some embossing powders,

                            Rust paste and wax

and Acrylic paints...

I really got to play with those textures I would have found in the forest...
Here are some close ups of the finished project.

Thanks for looking!!
Have fun creating off our March Mood Board!!

Love Completley - Tanya - Mood Board inspiration

Dusty Attic

Mood Board Inspiration

Mixed Media Layout

'Love Completely'

Hello dear Dusty FANattics!
This months mood board is GORGEOUS.

Love the color combination of red and orange,

such beautiful rich and warm colours.

Here is my take on the March challenge.

Inspired by the beautiful rich colours of this mood board
I created a layout featuring a combination of the stunning
Prima Midnight Garden and Salvage District collections teamed
up with some stunning Dusty Attic chipboard. For my background

I added a mixture of luscious icing pastes with a stencil and then
added some paint splatters. My photo (via Pinterest) has been
layered onto some die-cut pieces cut from the collections. I have
painted all the chipboard pieces with Finnabair's metallique
paints and the chipboard title has been heat embossed with a
light colour vintage pearl. I then decorated my photo cluster  with some red and gold rhinestones, pretty Prima flowers,
die-cut leaves, die-cut butterflies and string.
