"Sublime" Layout by DT Vicky Alberto

Hi, Vicky blogging today. On this project I have used a combination of beautiful papers from Meg's Garden. I added some fabulous Dusty Attic chipboard and Prima flowers as well as resin to frame the photo. Then, I balanced the layout by revealing a square doily behind some rolled edges. I just adore the birds on a branch chipboard (DA0594) - perfect to suit this layout scene of my mom on her wedding day (and my grandparents in the background). I also used a the word "sublime" from a mini word pack (DA0476) as my title.

I primed the birds on a branch and title pieces with gesso. Next, I used several chalk inks on the branch starting from light colours to dark until I achieved the natural "look" I wanted. As for the title, the gesso was a perfect match to the resin shutters  - so I left it alone. It created a nice dull white frame around the photo.

Thanks for joining me on the blog today!

"Daddy's Girl" Layout by DT Tina Dalton

When I started out on my scrapbooking journey I started creating boy layouts for my son, BUT then I got a granddaughter and discovered, pink, lace, flowers and all things girly, so it has been a long time since I created a masculine layout.
But with a few friends urging me and this stunning photo of my gorgeous son and granddaughter I just had to create a Masculine page and I didn't want it flowery,  although I did manage to sneak a few of the awesome new Dusty Attic   mini roses on  to the layout, let me tell you they were just perfect for this project and they are perfect on just about everything I create, and come in such a great range of colours too, they even look good on my cards and OTP creations as well.
On this layout I have used the Cogs frame set, Cogs set 1, Mini cogs, Name plates #5, the awesome new Mini ABC set upper, and of course the Mini roses, ( Latte Cream 1cm and Chocolate #730.

I had a whole lot of fun creating this layout, my first ever use of Washi tape ( and boy am I addicted now, I also stamped, distressed and used my Martha punch on this.
I am looking forward to creating a few more layouts with a little bit of masculine too.

Thanks for calling past and know that I adore each and every visit I get and your lovely comments mean so much.

Tina

"Boy" Layout by DT Robin Shakoor

Hello everyone!
I couldn’t wait to use this gorgeous chipboard frame from the Dusty Attic deVine Frame Set (DA0733).  I colored the frame by spraying several coats of Pinecone Glimmer Mist.  I embellished my frame using Dusty Attic Roses (Chocolate - DA0972, Latte Cream 1 cm - DA0960 and Whisper Blue #651X - DA0969), Dusty in Bloom Flowers (Blue Bonnet - DA0807) and Dusty Rose Leaves - DA0962.
I created several layers including doilies (Bo Bunny) and patterned paper (Authentique) which was altered using punches, folding and tearing techniques.

Here you can see the lovely little roses in latte and blue.  To finish my page, I added drops of liquid pearls.
Thanks so much for visiting with us today.

'Evidence of True Love' Layout by DT Geraldine Pasinati

"Evidence of True Love" Layout by Geraldine Pasinati

Hello and welcome, Today I'm going to share a layout that I have created over the school holidays.
The title  is "Evidence of True love". This is a rarity...my 3 children in a beautiful photograph together. Here in Melbourne we have just finished school holidays and my children were fighting 90% of the time except for this day......I think the warning of losing Wii, X box and ipods for 2 weeks meant that they were semi angels for this photo shoot. Now I have proof they really do love each other!

Dusty Attic Products:

Dusty in Colour Mountain Meadow
Dusty in Colour Storm Cloud

Dusty in Colour Fine Silver
Dusty in Colour Navajo White
Dusty in Colour Clear Crackle Varnish

Dusty In Bloom Smokey Blue

Floral Corners

Ornate Fence #1

Till next time....XX G!

'My Beautiful Mother' Layout by Mistra Hoolahan

'My Beautiful Mother' Layout by DT Mistra Hoolahan

Hi everyone!  Today I have a layout to share with you of my beautiful ma... she's a special one this one.  Beautiful inside and out, always there for all of us with her logic and unselfish giving.  When I grow up I want to be just like her!

I have used some of the new release Dusty on this, one of my favourites from the release, the small Elegant Flourish.  I couldn't wait to use it and while creating this layout I knew it would be perfect!  Jen has also release mini Script ABC Set which matches her mini words, so now we can make our own words or add to the exisiting ones!

I've also used some of the sweet new Dusty Roses.  These are available in so many wonderful vintage colours and 2 sizes - 1cm and 1.5cm

The chippy was simply painted white and then accented with some Luminarte Silks in Opal, it gives it a delicate soft shimmer.

I've added layers and layers of ruffles and lace, some of my handmade flowers, some resin flowers and also a lovely Green Tara Primula and Diamante Trim.

Thanks for visiting, until next time - take care of you!
