Lots of Goodies - Evgenia Petzer

Hello dear friends! Its Evgenia Petzer with you today. I have made lots of projects, so be ready for a long post with different types of projects.
First up is the fabric cover for a baby boy album/notebook. Recently my friend had a sweet addition to her family- another son, so this little book will go to little Fedor (yes, Russian names differ a ot from the ones that you are used to, lol)

I combined two types of fabric on it (Tilda brand), Maja papers and of course the chipboard and the paint are from Dusty Attic.
Inside there ar the sheets of papers that you can always take out and change or yourself some extra ones

Add caption
and some cards:

my second card (both of them use Maja Design papers)

some microbeads on top of the chipboard

fabric CD cover holder:
(all the chipboards here re covered up with Dusty acrylic paints and then topped with glossy)

I made it based on the September's MoodBoard:

There is always a generous prize of a $100 gift voucher to the Website up for grabs

this is how the CD holder looks inside, I think its realy can be a special little gift for your friends' photo session, as you can always personalize it.

and the last project is the cover that I made for my Thailand travel album, I used again the same idea as in my baby boy book on top of my post.

Dream - Jacqueline Moore - Mood Board inspiration

There are still two days to get your entry in for the Mood Board this month.
Have a look at what Jacqueline has created to inspire you.

Hey Dusty Attic fans!!! I hope you are all well?
Today I would like to share with you my take on this month's moodboard. I had so much fun fun with this and love how it turned out. I hope I can inspire you to pull out your stash of Dusty Attic and give our moodboard a go, you only have a few days left, and remember there is a $100 voucher to the Dusty Attic store up for grabs!!

September Moodboard:

I have a lot of trouble combining colors, such as Pink and Blue, that are just so opposite each other. I can just never make it work!!! So today I decided I would just take those pretty Pink, and Purplish tones from the moodboard and see how I went. I also added in touches of Yellow and Gold.

'Big Dream'

I have decided to layer all three of the String Frames Small across the page, beginning with the smallest on the left, the largest in the middle behind the photo, and the middle sized one to the right. I have simply given them a quick coat of gesso then brushed a very thin layer of white SPLASH! Ink over the top to make them more 'White'.

Some Details:

I painted all the leaves from Foliage #4 with 13 Arts SPLASH! Ink in Gold.
The Heart Attack panel Small has been painted with White SPLASH! Ink before being cut into smaller pieces.

I absolutely love all the new arrow/feather chippies from Dusty Attic!! This one has been painted using a variety of paints from 13 Arts, Viva Decor, and Luminarte Twinkling H20's. I have wrapped some sparkling thread around it to add a little extra detail.

The Mini Hearts #2 have also been painted with a very thick layer of Gold SPLASH! Ink. then scattered around the page.

I have taken the smaller of the Vine Frames #1 and cut it into smaller pieces creating little leafy stems. I have then painted them with a thick layer of Viva Decor Maya Paints in Vintage Gold. The color came out quite Yellowish and I didn't much like it, so while it was still wet I took a baby wiped and rubbed the paint away...... I was left with is a softer glittery Gold with Silvery Highlights......

All the chipboard leaves and Foliage have been placed around the layout tucked in here and there among my flower clusters and layers.

I hope you like what I have created and are inspired to grab out some Dusty Attic chippies and give our moodboard a go!! Remember there is only a few days left in which you can enter!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!!

Love Little Moments - Lisa Gregory

Welcome Dusty Attic Lovers!! Lisa here with a new layout using the gorgeous Dusty Attic chipboard. I found a gorgeous piece of paper imprinted with a frame, which was the color inspiration to this layout. I loved the antique looking old frame gilded design on the paper. I wanted my chipboard to match that old gilded feeling. I also wanted an old world feeling, so I added distressed layers using the Dusty Attic corrugated cardboard tucked under here and there. I wet it, distressed it a bit, then added color with sprays.

To get the look of gilded paint on the chip board was very easy. I sprayed Lindy's Stamp Gang  Mission Bells Brown Starburst spray onto a non stick craft mat. The chipboard was then swirled into the spray until it all soaked up. This left parts of fine gold mica powder blended into the color brown of the spray without leaving defined spots. Perfectly blended and oh so easy. To seal it, I added a very light coat of Dusty in Colour Clear Gloss Varnish.

I did the same to the title. I used words from 2 different sets. The word LOVE came from Word Pack #19. The Little Moments caption came from Mini Captions #6.

I love the Leaves #2. They are so light and airy looking.  I placed a few of them on my non stick craft mat and sprayed them with water until they were soaked through. I waited a few minutes then I peeled them in half turning 1 leaf into 2. This made them easier to bend and shape after they were sprayed with color. I then tucked them into the flower clusters.

This view just shows the layers and dimension created on this layout. I sprayed some cheese cloth with color then tucked it underneath the top layer. You can see how light and airy the leaves look.

Thank you for stopping by today!! Check out the dusty Attic store for lots of new products. The newest chip board designs are Fabulicious!!

Live in the Moment - Jen Burns

Pink and Aqua can be for boy layouts too !
I had this layout published in "Scrapbooking Memories" magazine a few months ago and forgot to share it on my blog !
It also goes with this months Dusty Attic Mood Board challenge - just add your link to the right hand side bar of the blog to enter for your chance to win a $100 Gift Voucher to the website!

I Love this photo of Kyden and I taken at the Zoo with Cadence and Audrey (Dede)
We where watching the elephants and mucking around and a "perfect moment" was captured!

I have used Dusty Attic chippy along with Websters Beautiful Chic papers and little alphas and gorgeous sticker sheets.

The cross stitching is done using thick jute to make it more "boyish" and I have added staples here and there, as well as raw chipboard to match in with the jute. The Title "live in the Moment" is just perfect for this snap shot

Circles are one of my favourite things to use as well as stars and this string frame set can be used in so many ways, the arrows are from the Chevron set and the Be Happy word disk is from a whole set of 8 different sayings.

Add some paper underneath the stars to make them stand out and bend your chippy to add dimension and texture, brads and tags and strips of paper draw your eyes into the photo.

Dusty Attic pieces used are as follows, remember you can order straight from the website now and retail customers who order over $75.00 worth get FREE shipping worldwide.
