Flower Girl - Pascale B Scrap

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Dusty Attic blog with a tag.

Photo: @ArtHouseWhimsy

I chose the 9,5x20 cm tag from the Tag Medley set. I primed it with white gesso and added a design using the Floral stencil and light modeling paste. Next, I painted the background with different colors of liquid acrylic and mica powder until I was satisfied with the result.

I primed all the chipboards with black gesso. I used a 3D gloss gel to adhere them to the tag.

When everything was securely glued, I dry-brushed the chipboards with white gesso.

I colored the Wisteria, the Wildflowers #3, the Daisies #3, and the Designer Disc #10 with Nude liquid acrylic, Gold Rose and Celestial waxes.

I covered the Foliage #23 and the leaves of the Daisies #3 and Wildflowers #3 with Sage and White waxes.

To finish, I added some glitter.

You colour my World - Rikki G - Sketch Challenge inspiration

Good morning how are you? Geez September is just flying by..... I am here today to share my take on the second part of this months Dusty Attic Challenge, this time its for those who love sketches.

To start off the layout I cut the Botanical Ringlet, so its more like an open circle.

And I gave it a little distress with a sanding block to help break up the layers of white chipboard.

Dont be afraid to cut the Larger Wisteria apart so you can curve them and give  some direction to them.

Distress the Dusty Attic Chipboard title.

Clusters some Mini Pumpkins together to add another layer and interest.

Botanical Ringlets #3

You Colour My World

All you need to do is add your take of the challenge into the comments section on the Dusty FANattics Facebook page HERE for your chance to win one of two amazing $50 Credits to choose any.

Good Luck and have fun creating.

Garden Book Nook - Kerstin Filou

Welcome creative friends!

In simply terms it's a Book shelf insert or

a Schaufenster im Bücherregal in german 😀.

Most of the time you see these elaborate pieces in connection

with Harry Potter stories, beautiful and enchanting,

 but often quite expensive.

I think you can do even more with these book nooks.

I know many who have a  garden book library

and to this theme fits these creative idea wonderful too.

You can illuminate it and it is a wonderful gift idea.

I had the courage to make the blank myself out of 3 mm MDF material.

 It has the following dimensions: 15 x 19 x 10 cm.

You can do that, but it's easier to buy a finished blank.

Dusty Attic doesn't have one yet, but your day may come

😏😃.

It's relatively easy to  make,

I used scrapbook paper to cover the walls, a lot of suitable chipboards,

and a mould for the garden path.

some close up's

used Dusty Attic chipboards

 If you have any questions

please get in touch I'm always happy to help if I can.

I hope you find inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by...until next time!

Sunsets are Proof that ..... - Aneta Nasionkowska - Mood Board Inspiration

Sunsets are proof that...

Welcome on my first blog post!

I was prompted to do so by my presence in the design team, where I am expected to convey inspiration in this form. This is an experiment for me as from various sources I receive news that no one reads blogs anymore. Is this the way it is? I am very curious about your opinions on this matter. Do you read blogs? Do you review the content there regularly? Do you take an active part: do you comment, share, or leave any sign that you read or saw the post? Or maybe you write your own blog? I suppose there are some writers who treat the blog as their archive of thoughts, portfolio or for their memories... What do you think?

This is my first inspiration for Australian chipboard shapes' producer - Dusty Attic. It is a great honor for me, to find myself among such talented creators, but it is also an amazing challenge. When, out of curiosity, I looked at the profiles of my new colleagues from DT - what I found there gave me chills for a moment. What I've done?! Why did I apply there and why did they accept me?! How am I going to cope with this task now?... That's what I thought in October! Two months have passed and I got used to the fact that I have no choice but to start creating really good projects. Sounds too bold? Sure! However, I do want to believe that this will be the value of adding my participation in the promotion of the Dusty Attic brand which I'm pretty proud of. There is no way to create something ugly when you're working with such amazing shapes! Ok - I'll try to be less excited about their products although it can be quite hard. :)
And now I invite you for details:
