ever Photo tells a Story - Kareen Dion - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello everyone!

Did you see the new challenge this month? Do you love the colors?
I must say, I'm not a very big brown lover but it always fun to get out of our comfort zone!
So come and play with us and get the chance to win a fabulous prize all you have to do is add your take of the board on the Dusty FANattics page
HERE  !

This is my layout, I took a picture of my sister-in-law with her boyfriend.

I used the title "Every photo tells a story" which I thought that was perfect with the picture.
I simply apply a little bit of watercolor on the chipboard and a little bit of white gesso.

As I was inspired by the moodboard, I added "Christmas Tree #2" with embossing powder.

In the background and behind my picture, I used a frame from the Vintage Frame #4.

And a last close-up :

I wish you a very beautiful day and see you soon!

Moment De jole (Joyful Moment) - Kareen Dion

Hello everyone!
Today, I'm sharing a layout with colors that I don't really use that often.
I don't if it's because I find black too dark or because ... I don't know!!
But I always love the combination of the black/red/white.

I really love that Dusty Attic offers French titles and quotes. Here I used the
"French Mini Captions #7" and the quotes from the "French Wordpl@y BLACK #1".

Under the paper with writings, you can see that I added a border chipboard "Fancy Trim #18".
I simply painted it in black and put some white gesso on it.

And I also used the "Tropical Foliage #10" that I've painted with watercolor and a put
a little bit of white gesso on it.

Vitamin Sea - Kareen Dion - Mood Board Inspriation

Hello!

Today I'm sharing with you my interpretation of the new moodboard's challenge this month!
And, as always, the colors are wonderful! So fresh, so green, so summer! I love it.

And this is what I created inspired by the moodboard :

I used the title "Vitamin Sea" from the kit : Mini Captions #16. I simply used
my yellow watercolor on it and added a little bit of white gesso.

The quotes are from the Wordpl@y #7 Set. I painted them white and then added a thin layer
of yellow watercolor.

Behind my picture, you can see the Fishnet Border that I embossed with
embossing powder and then I cut it in little pieces to add on my layouté

And a last close-up :

And that's it for me today!

You had me at Meow - Kareen Dion

Hello everyone!
So it's my turn today to show you some inspiration!
I made a layout with my beautiful cat "Biscuit",
the chipboards about the cats are perfect!

I embellish my layout with the Frangipani #2 chipboard. I applied a thin layer of white paint and then I applied watercolor on them to color them.

I used the title "You Had Me at Meow". The title is simply used with black paint and
I put a little bit of white gesso on it to soften a little bit the title.

On the background, I used the Ornate Circle #2 chipboard. I used watercolor and a little
bit of white gesso on it.

I painted the chipboard Banners #4 with black paint.

I hope you liked it and we see us soon for more inspiration!

On the background of my layout, I cut a big frame : Ornate Circle #2
I cut it and embossed it with white embossing powder.

I used a little anchor from the set : Anchor #2. I also embossed it with white embossing powder. And I put a title from the Mini Titles #2 – Perfect.

I added a quote, I love the Dusty Attic's quotes, they are so perfect for any projects.
This one is from the Quoted Sentiments #4. And behind from my photo,
