Moment De jole (Joyful Moment) - Kareen Dion

Hello everyone!
Today, I'm sharing a layout with colors that I don't really use that often.
I don't if it's because I find black too dark or because ... I don't know!!
But I always love the combination of the black/red/white.

I really love that Dusty Attic offers French titles and quotes. Here I used the
"French Mini Captions #7" and the quotes from the "French Wordpl@y BLACK #1".

Under the paper with writings, you can see that I added a border chipboard "Fancy Trim #18".
I simply painted it in black and put some white gesso on it.

And I also used the "Tropical Foliage #10" that I've painted with watercolor and a put
a little bit of white gesso on it.

And a last close-up :

Choisis le bonheur - Kareen Dion

Hello everyone!
Today I'm sharing with you my layout using some lovely chipboards. I made a purple layout because I think it's one of my favorite color to scrap (I know, I know, lots of you don't like this color!) But I do think it's less common than pink or teal, I really love purple shades.

I used the little leaves on the Sturt Desert Pea #1 and I used white embossing powder.

For the title, I used the French Mini Caption #7
I embossed it with white embossing powder.

Behind the embellishments, I used the Floral Frame Set #3
I used a two-tone embossing powder for this chipboard.

And a last close-up :

Samuser au soleil - Kareen Dion - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello everyone!

Today I'm sharing with you my inspiration from this month moodboard.
I must say, that aren't colors that I'm used to.
But, a challenge is a challenge!

And here is my layout :

Some close ups :
For the title, I used the French Mini Caption #9, I mixed paint and embossing powder.

On the background I took the Fancy Trim #13, I love the borders from the new release.
They are so easy to work with and it always gives a little extra on your creation.

I also added Stars #4 that I painted and add a little bit of white gesso on them.

Behind the title, I used the Banners #4 that I simply painted.

So that's it for me today and I hope you will be inspired!!
See you soon!

Living in the moment - Nicole Doiron

Hello Dusty FANattics!

I am happy to be here with you today to share a brand new project filled with Dusty Attic goodies.

With this page, I started off with a very reflective French title and wordplay. It went well with this picture of myself that my boyfriend took when we started dating more than 10 years ago. I look at the same time contemplative and at peace. I find that getting older, I now sometimes struggle with anxiety, and I have to constantly remind myself to enjoy the present and live one day at a time as I did back then.

On the title, I used 2 shades of embossing powder, peach in the center and white along the upper and bottom edge. I used the same powders on some of the other chipboard. I decorated with a couple arrows from the Tribal sets and the Designer Discs #5 Script which I adore!

For the wordplay strip I chose some sparkly teal powder as well on the intricate

Heraldry Motif that I added in the right hand corner and underneath my photo.

Below you see some beautiful pieces of the Leafy Garland and Foliage #13.

And here is one last look!

La Vie en Rose - Jenny Jacques

Hi Dusty FanAttics!

Here is my May project for my Dusty Attic design team!

A simple background paper on which I layered my focal point: just some layers of papers and a piece of cardboard under my picture to add some dimensions.

I painted my Cherry Blossom chippie with black gesso and then, added some wax to give this subtle metallic look.

I placed it beside my focal point and added some Dusty Attic pearls  in the middle of some flowers.

You can see in the picture below that I have used some Flutterbies to ornate my layout.

They are all colored with the new Lindy's stamp gang Squirts.

After that, the main title is simply covered with a glossy white embossing powder.

Finally, after I've added all the flowers and other embellishments, I've simply drop some white gesso splatters to give my layout a little bit of texture and that was it!

You can see below all the gorgeous products

I've used in this layout with link to the store!

Thank  you for stoping by!
See you next month!

"Choisis le bonheur" - Valerie Ouellet

Hello Dusty Attic fans!
Valerie's here to share another layout with you with Dusty Attic products.

I created my background with "Dusty Attic Cobblestone stencil" and the new finnabair texture paste Golden Nugget. I loveeeeee this texture paste! I added a little bit of color with Lindy's squirt and water.

I used the word "Choisis le bonheur" of the "French Mini caption #7" and I used Finnabair wax to color it. In the engraved words, I used Nuvo mousse with a spatula.

I used the awesome assortiment of "Cogs&Gears" that I colored with Finnabair wax and I added some texture paste Golden Nugget.
