Together - Patricia Basson

This crazy, crazy Year is nearing its end...leaving us in anticipation what the new year will hold in store for us all !
But until then we keep to some normality in our daily lives... One of which is sharing my monthly Dusty Attic Design Team project with you all.
This photo of me and Hubby was taken two years ago.
I used papers from AB Studio: Paradise lost.

I gave the background a light wash of thin white Gesso, and then stenciled a motif with texture paste. While wet I sprinkled Ranger Blue Glass embossing powder and Funky Gold Patina Embossing powder from Cosmic Shimmer on the paste. I let the paste dry and then heat embossed the embossing powders.
I gesso'd the different Dusty Attic frames with white gesso. I painted them with a Raw Umber Acrylic paint. The Fancy Frame was embossed with some random Vintage Beeswax Baked Texture embossing Powder. The Polaroid Frame and the small flourishes from the Decorative Frame set where embossed with Speckled Egg Embossing Glaze from Tim Holtz. I am loving the Distressed look all the frames have.

I used several flowers from Dusty in Bloom as well as some fussy cut leaves and flowers. Shaved Ice from Stampendous and Blue and Green Prills and some dried roots add the finishing touches and added texture to the page.

From the Dusty Attic on-line shop I used the following...

Dusty in Bloom
Grassy Knoll

Dusty in Bloom
Cornsilk

Wishing all love and Happiness.

Marriage resembles a pair of shears,
so joined that they cannot be separated,
often moving in opposite directions,
yet always punishing
 anyone who comes between them.
