Altered Notebook - Joanne Simons

Hello and thanks so much for stopping by and spending a little time with me today.

I hope you are all well and safe wherever you are in this big wide world.

Today I thought I would share with you a notebook which I altered with some of lovely Dusty Attic Chipboard.

This was so much fun to make and I definately got my hands dirty which is something I don't often enjoy!

I created some texture on my cover first with some pastes and also added the Brickwork stencil with some ink for an extra bit of layering and colour.

I then covered my Cog Cluster with some paint and highlighted it with some yellow rust paste.  The texture is a little hard to see but it looks great.  I also added some extra cogs from the Cogs no. 3 as well.

For a bit of extra interest I covered the Broken Bits #1 numbers in black gesso and added some paint and waxes to them.

Here is a couple of close shots so you can see all the texture

Until next time
Happy crafting
