Journey -Farrel Tailor - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello there everyone, Farrel here to share with you my take on the July mood board challenge and today I have a layout using the colours as my inspiration.

For the papers I have used 7 Dots Studio's Air Mail range. I also used their tags, stickers and die cuts. I inked all the edges of my paper, dies and stickers using Distress Archival ink in Vintage photo. I added some stamp stitching around the edges of my background paper using Faded Jeans Distress Archival ink.

For the Compass Rose chipboard I applied some white gesso and then sprayed it with Distress Oxide Sprays - Cracked Pistachio, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain to give a patina type look.

The Travel Border chipboard I applied white gesso again and then using a foam blending tool applied Faded Jeans and Barn Door Distress Archival Ink.

For the Blueprint Journey chipboard I also covered with white gesso and then using Distress Archival ink pad - Spiced Marmalade I swiped the ink pad over the chipboard until it was covered. To finish the layout I splattered using Faded Jeans Distress Stain Spray.
