Imagine - Mixed Media Panel - Pascale B Scrap

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Dusty attic blog with my first project for 2024: a mixed media panel.

To begin, I glued some paper sheets to the canvas board. I added a thin layer of white gesso to blend the papers and the background. I added a design with the Circuit stencil and paper paste. 

I embossed the Industrial Jumbo Gears, the Nuneka Gears, and the Blueprint Word.  

I primed the Leaves #3 and the Christmas Berries #1 with white gesso. I painted the leaves with green and orange liquid acrylic paints. 

I colored some flowers and the Christmas Berries #1 with red and gold Magicals. 

I painted the background with brown and black paints.

To finish I added some glitter.

Journey - Judith Tijsen - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello to you all,

This month at Dusty Attic we have a mood board with beautiful bright colors. For me a huge challenge because these are not the colors I would normally choose to make a project with.

But it worked. 

I edited a cookie tin with Ledger stencil - DA1891 and put different wax colors over it.

I placed the borders of Broken Chevrons small - DA3372 in a square under Industrial frame Square. 

This fits exactly.

Lynette here, welcome to the blog today. I am sharing my take on the October mood board. When my son, Wynand, sent me these cute photos of Lukas and Eben I just knew that I wanted to use ALL the photos to tell the story.

Some close up details:

I used different acrylic paints to create a rust effect on the industrial chipboard pieces.

I clustered the various chipboard pieces around the photos.

The Chipboard titles were heat embossed.

I just love how fun and rustic this page turned out.

Hello there Dusty Attic fans,

 As you may know I really like the romantic style. But I also really enjoy making cool projects like this one. With lots of industrial objects and cool colors.

I used a round tray for this as a base. I put the largest cog on it from Cogs Frame Set DA0327. 

And some smaller ones for extra decoration.

I edited all the large gears with crackle paste and acrylic paint

The rust paint gives the project a really old vintage look.

  Hello friends!

It's Anat here with my new project - an Industrial rusty Box

I have today another altered box in industrial style, created in pretty traditional way. To alter the Box I used many industrial pieces as well as  their negatives, covered all with Black Gesso and Rust Pastes. To give my Box a worn out look  I added black shadowing and Graphite texture paste. And to highlight the details on the elements I have rubbed Metalique Wax.
