Dream - Joanne Bain

Howdy Peeps!!

Sharing a page today that created using some gorgeous Dusty Attic chipboard and some older Graphic 45 papers.

My little man he is a dreamer and in turn he has made my wildest dreams come true so I thought it was very fitting to create a page about him using a dream catcher. So without further ado here is what I come up with.

'Dream'

To create my dream catcher I have used the Dusty Attic Dream Catcher #1 as the base. I added lots of strings and coloured cotton for texture and to make it look and feel more like a real dream catcher.

To create the roughed up feathers I simply soaked the chipboard in water and slightly pulled apart. This little trick works fantastically and makes them quiet dimensional. Once they were dry I then simply painted them in my desired colour.

I added the square ATC Frame behind my photo. I added texture paste and painted this in a contrasting colour to compliment my page. Around the top of the dream catcher you can see lots of strings and cottons and you can see the fine detail if the chipboard strings inside.

As my little man is a nature lover I wanted a country feel for my page so I choose to use Graphic 45 French Country papers. I fussy cut and layered all of the sunflowers and then topped with the crowing rooster.

I added lots of texture to my background and added a very light wash of Dusty In Colour Hot Chocolate.
