Totally Love this - Kerstin Filou - Mood Board Inspiration

Welcome everyone!

It's springtime here and just the right time to go on a bicycle tours.
Especially in spring when the
f
ruit trees blossom,
is driving through our countryside
wonderful. Simply out into the countryside, take a picnic with
you,
lie on the meadow and listen to the birds singing, an absolute
relaxation programme.

As I saw our May Moodboard I thought on blue sky, blossoming cherry trees  and beautiful green meadows.

Suitable to our fresh and bright May Moodboard I choose a paper  from the Maja Design 'Vintage Springtime Basics' Collection as
background.

some close up's

 the Heraldry
Motif
was a perfect picture frame for me
I used the larger part as upper boundary
and the narrower part as lower boundary of the photo

the chipboards were first primed with white gesso
and some texture paste and then painted with two blue tones

I love this very romantic and nostalgic Vintage
Clock #1
for an old wheathered look I only use a white Acrylic Paint Dabber on
some places
and added some embellishments.

 My  teamies at Dusty
Attic Design DT have come up with many
inspiring and different versions on this May Moodboard theme.
Please have a look and feel you inspired to create your own idea.
We are looking forward to see your new creations!

Happy
crafting!

The Young Woman - Patricia Basson

Today I am sharing a strong coloured page for Dusty Attic with you. Using a photo of Chantelle deep in Artsy Mode from a few years back. I used papers from DCWV the Timeless Type Stack. Flowers are mostly from Petaloo. I used a plastic bag to stamp some Ink onto my background and also a Stencil with Yellow Archival Ink. I added leave motifs with the Dusty Attic Leaves #2 Stencil and Black Texture Paste.

I coloured the bottom part of the Layered Garland with black acrylic paint. The top part and the Mini Hearts were primed with White Versa Magic Ink and then painted with Yellow Metallic Paint from 13arts.

The Heraldry Motif and Diamond Panel was embossed with Aged Black embossing powder from Stampendous.

These and many more are available in the Dusty Attic store...

Please come over and visit the Dusty Attic Blog,  and also the Dusty FANattics facebook page for fun and inspiration!

In my soul,
I am still that small child
who did not care
about anything else
 but the beautiful colors
 of a rainbow.
