Christmas Card Mega Bundel - Ankarika Craft

 Hi there!

This year I decided to make my Christmas cards in a rustic style. Some would probably class them as boho or even vintage style. In any case, I opted for soft pastel colours combined with natural brown, jute and white acrylic paint.

I didn't even for a moment doubt what I would use to enhance the composition of my little masterpieces, and I made a solid stock of Christmas cardboard at Dusty Attic.

I cordially invite you to browse through all 16 cards, because each one is different. I know it's quite late for Christmas orders, but maybe I will still inspire someone before the upcoming holidays.

Merry Christmas and happy New Year!!

Merry Christmas - Michelle Van Oudtshoorn

Greetings!

A very happy new year to you! Here's hoping that 2022 will be a safer, healthier and happier year for us all.

I have decided to do a Christmas layout, as inspiration for all those photos that were taken over Christmas.

Dusty Attic have some great Christmas chippies, so I thought creating a Christmas layout would be a good way to show you these amazing chipboard pieces.

I have used a mix of Mintay papers and Ciao Bella papers to create my layout. The Christmas Postmarks (DA3149) and the Reindeer (DA3154) have been coloured using a metallique champagne coloured stamp pad. The Merry Christmas (DA3206) and the Christmas Berries (DA3143) have been coloured using a burgundy coloured stamp and then I have used Platinum Stickles to add glitter to the these.
The photo was matted first and added to the page with the leftover chipboard of the Merry Christmas title (leftover chipboard is great for adding dimension - I cut mine up and keep this in a bag). I layered the flowers and the added the berries.
I then added the postmarks and the this cutest reindeer. I used watered down ink from a stamp to colour in the eyes, the antlers, the scarf and the spots on the reindeer.
The Merry Christmas title was added last. I added a little less stickles to the title.
Thank you for visiting the blog today. Happy scrapping your Christmas photos! Check out the Dusty Attic website to see their latest Christmas range.

Till next time, take care

Santa's Toy Factory - Jen Burns

Hello Dusty FANattics, today I would like to share a layout of my gorgeous Grand daughter of her First Christmas 2020 using the NEW Dusty Attic Christmas release.

As soon as I saw the Reindeer Forest Friends I knew I had to have them and which photos would go perfectly with them.

I started off with an undercoat spray (or you can use Gesso) then have used water colour pencils to colour all of the Reindeer and their scarves. To create even more dimension I have added shape to the back of the chipboard and also pulled the antlers forward for interest.

Santa's Toy Factory and Merry Christmas postmarks already came as shown in the white card so all I did was add them to my page.

I have used two packs of the presents to have a big pile for the other two Reindeer to stand on. These where coloured the same way, with undercoat and water colour pencils/pens.

The Christmas light border I painted with five different coloured paints in the same sequence remembering that the light cord is twisted, then added white dots with enamel drops, the cord I have painted green.
