Jen Burns ...
Hello everyone, today I would like to share a layout that is very close to my heart as our darling Maisy crossed to the Rainbow Bridge in the new year. Way too early at the age of 3.5yrs old. She was Kyden's sidekick, his shadow, his pup that was meant to grow up with him. The new Dusty Attic chipboard release is perfect for this page, even though based on Valentines day it is filled with beautiful sentiments that are perfect for many pages and cards.
MAISY
This is for Kyden's room so in keeping with his Eagles colours I have used Yellow and Blue papers. I then started with the Notebook edge square frame colouring it in white and {Maisy} painted in the dark blue using the Typewriter ABC set.
Then it was time to add all of the amazing NEW RELEASE Valentines chippy. You & Me from Wordpack #52 is painted in ombre blue's using a sponge to add the lighter colour.
The Heart Clusters inside the top embellishment cluster and stemmed hearts are painted white and added to the xoxo and the cute little tag.
This super gorgeous Heart Gnome was painted white then the hat an shoes are coloured with water colour pencils with rub-ons added and little white dots with a paint pen.
The love heart also has a rub on transfer on it in the way of the cute blue butterfly.
I have coloured the XOXO the same way as the You & Me title in the ombre blues.
I have finished my off with the heart arrows, infinity and the heart candy love hearts scattered on the bottom of the page.
I hope you like the layout, it has a lot of tear drops on it as well which luckily don't show up.
