Hey my dears!
This time I have two similar cards for you, made on request as a thank you for talented teachers from grateful students. It's a nice class, which appreciates the experience and time spent, especially when it is a free training. I am glad that there are such grateful people, at least I have interesting challenges in my workshop.

The background is paper from The Old World collection by DCWV. I torn the edges and sewed the exact brick-colored stitch on the machine. Then I put the layer in a shade of purple, also sewn on the machine. Here I decided to use the
distressed diamonds mask and matte texture paste from Ranger. After drying, the diamonds were darkened with vintage photo ink.
The third layer is navy blue paper embossed with the Sizzix 3D Typewriter folder designed by Tim Holtz. The composition is emphasized by stylish ornaments from
Dusty Attic:
iron trim set and
elegant swirl set I painted them with black gesso and then used copper wax from Finnabair. I also emphasized the embossing with wax.
The circles on which I arranged the elements: a computer, a cup and the Bible were cut out with dies. Sisal protrudes from underneath. The individual layers are taped with a beermat, giving a 3D effect. The inscriptions are adjusted to the occasion and I made them myself. I am extremely pleased with the effect I was able to achieve by creating a 3D Bible from scratch. The photos do not reflect the charm and the amazing similarity to the original. I stained the cover with ink and the edges of the pages are silver-plated thanks to wax from Sizzix.
How do you like this form of grateful? I will tell you in secret that I will soon repeat this assignment for other satisfied students. I should have gone faster the second time. I never do exactly the same, I assume that the handmade work to order must be unique and one and only. And you? Do you like to duplicate your works? Is it a torment for you maybe?
