I must admit that writing down a report on my joyful artwork for you gives me a lot of satisfaction. The hearts mentioned in the title were made for a mood board challenge on The Dusty Attic blog. This time I had a little trouble with it as I really don't like blue colour. After a while of various kinds of combinations, I think I made it .. What will you say? Or maybe you too will take up this challenge? The base is asymmetrical HDFs, which I covered on both sides with hessian and torn the edges. Then I cut out the paper to the size of the heart. This time I also used a sheet from the "Breeze of Dreams" collection by Margaret Paper Design. I made torns on the paper like the cat's scratches, torn those gaps and edges, and then grabbed Bubbles mask. I've waited impatiently to use it and I'm absolutely in love with the end result! I decided to leave these bubbles raw. I didn't color them - they fit perfectly into the design just like this & made around them a white collar with Gelly Roll 08 from Sakura.
The next step is to prepare the leaves. I have no idea if someone is doing it or if I just made it up, at least I haven't spotted it anywhere. I am quite proud of myself :)) Here's how they were created: with Leaves mask, I created a layer of paste on the watercolor paper and rather quickly (before it dried) I innervated the leaves using sharp tweezers. When the paste is dry, I cut-out the leaves with scissors, shaped them and it's ready! As for me, the end result is great and I will definitely repeat it more than once.

Flower Posie #3) There are other designs available in the shop. For coloring them I used Promarker in the shades of soft green, cobalt blue and chestnut, Gelly Roll 08, Faber Castell XS and acrylic paint from Art Deco in the shade of Antique White. I treated
quotes and
flourishes with the same Antique White paint.
I enriched the floral composition by adding gauze, a piece of hessian, the aforementioned leaves, lace and small beads here and there, and a string bow. Finally, on one heart landed the word
"love" and on the other
"lucky". I hung the hearts on a string. End of the creation process. Did I miss something? .. Any questions? Do not hesitate - feel free to contact me.
