Stolen Moments - Michelle Van Oudtshoorn

 Hello Dusty Attic fans

We are having a sweltering hot day here in New Zealand as I write this - summer is great, but I am not a fan of excessive heat. My layout today is of my daughter at her formal in her last year at school - and with her Dad - I love this photo of the two of them.

My husband rarely smiles in photos - and here he was caught off guard talking to someone and I managed to get the snap shot - hence my title "stolen moments"

I have started with the decorative frame, painted this with Dusty in Colour Dusty Pink paint and adhered this to the page, cutting the photo to fit in the circular frame.
From there I layered my flowers to make up the flower cluster. I painted the chipboard foliage in gold, and when this was dry added salmony coloured paint to the bud parts of the foliage. I cut these foliage chippy into smaller pieces to tuck in among the flowers.

I then added Unicorn stickles to the chipboard frame.
While I waited for the stickles to dry, I painted the title stolen moments before adhering to the frame and the page.
I also added a flower cluster to the top of the page using the foliage chipboard pieces.

These are the products I have used:

Thanks for popping over to visit the blog today.

Till next time,
Michelle
