Adore - Belinda Spencer

 Hello Dusty Attic Fans!

Belinda here today to share my latest layout created for The Dusty Attic.

Adore

I started with a super cute photo of my kids when they were much younger. I chopped it to a non-standard size because I never do anything 'normal'! I then created a cluster of papers, tags and embellishments underneath. I create my cluster first and staple everything together with my Tiny Attacher. Then I know how big an area to add some mixed media on my background. This background paper was so lovely that it didn't need too much done to it. I simply misted over a bit of Heidi Swapp Colour Shine and added some splats too.

I painted all of my chipboard with three coats of heavy white gesso and set aside to dry. Once dry. I tucked the chipboard in and around my central cluster which had been added to the layout with a double layer of 3D foam. This gives enough clearance for the embellishments and chipboard to be added in.

I finished by adding the photo, a few embellishments and the title.

The Dusty Attic products used:

DA2438 Blooms # 4
DA2440 Mini Foliage
DA2442 Mini Brackets
DA2544 Mini Titles # 1 - Love
DA2594 Foliage # 23

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today. I hope you are feeling inspired to play with your Dusty Attic stash too.

Cheers
Belinda
