Together Foreer - Karan Gerber - Mood Board Inspiration

HI Friends and welcome to the Mood board Challenge for May for Dusty Attic and my take on the Challenge.

Last month i did a project on a large record album and i really enjoyed creating on a circle layout instead of the normal square 12 x 12, so i thought i would try something similar for another project.

The mood board this month is filled with pinks and darker greens and i have a layout to share with you.

I started by making the large skeleton clock frame the base for my layout, tracing it out on heavy chipboard and then cutting a circle out of chipboard and pattern paper

I cut out some pieces of numbers from the large number panel and gessoed them then used some paints from my water color palette to add a bit of color to work with the mood board colors

you can see one of the groups of numbers i have cut out of the large panel, i added one group at the 3 and another at the 7, no specific reason, just seemed to be the best fit to enhance all the paper layers i had and leave enough white space.

I have run out of leaves and had the large floral frame set, so i cut apart the leaves on the large panel and used them to go in as a layer around the flowers. I love dimension and thought the photo would look better on a reverse shadow frame so i created one and strengthened it with chipboard

the title, i started it out with being white, but it seemed to get lost on the photo so i gessoed it over with black gesso and love that it pops for me.

I hope i have inspired you to create something for this months challenge.
