Hi! Can you believe it's already September! Time flies by so fast. Fall is coming, the air is getting colder and nature starts to show her beautiful red, brown and orange pallet. I love it! I guess I should've used those colors for my project, but I didn't...lol.
I actually used my favorite resin moon and stars with my favorite Dusty Attic gears on this cute ATC sized shadow box, also by Dusty Attic. Isn't it adorable? I love this size, it's perfect. Not to big, not to small and a bit bigger then ATC's. Which I think are just to small lol.
I've created a video for you guys to watch the whole process. And I would love for you to subscribe to my channel :) of course! Check out the video below or watch it on YouTube.
I've used several Dusty Attic pieces of chipboard and stencils on this cute Shadow Box You can see the Dusty Attic products I've used down below and follow the link to the store by clicking on the images.
I really like the way gesso and wax turn out on the chipboard. You can still see a bit of the chip board texture but paint covers quite easily. I really wanted to use some different colors than usual but to be honest, I ended up using purple anyway ... it just matched so pretty;). And don; t you just love the little text, 'to the moon and back. " It couldn't be more appropriate with the rest of the piece.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!
