This project was all about the richness of GOLD. I started by stenciling randomly over the background in and round where the main photo would be. Using Lindy Stamp Gang magicals - Cotton Candy and Bodacious Blush, Spray - Sunset Pink, added colour including a golden hue to the background highlighting the stenciled areas. Heavy cotton lace was cut and made to look weathered and stuck to the page, Using Dusty Attic paint - Sugar Plum and magicals blended to match the background coloured theme. The Mystic frame chipboard was coloured with Colour Blast Paste - leather adding a slightly textured look. The Iron Bar flourish was coloured with Rust Paste and a light rubbing of gold paste over the top. Using Archival Ink - Sepia, random stamping over the background to add a slightly grungy look. Before sticking on to the page, Art Stones (small and large) were stuck to the lace and up to where the main photo would sit. A light Spray of water to help blend in the colour from the page and lace to help blend in the look. Structure medium was used to stiffen cotton gauze and while wet, pulled to create a very loose weave. Once dried, pieces were placed on the the main embellishment area so that once the photo mat was added would just appear. Finally the words were painted with Finnabair Sparks - Butterfly sparks.
I hope you enjoy this project.
