My Heart Smiles with You - Gerry Van Gent - Challenge Inspiration

Hello Crafty Friends!

Gerry's here today to share a canvas layout with you. My project today is inspired by the gorgeous colours from November's moodboard.

All new releases from Dusty Attic are so gorgeous that I had hard time choosing which ones I want to use first.

I wish I could use all of them on one project :-)

Here are some close-up photos for you...

In general all chipboard on today's project was treated with Dusty in Colour paint...

except the clockwork and (part of) arrow chipboards which were treated only with gesso.

I am loving the Foliage chippies so much.

Adding the matching colour is basically all they need to show their beauty.

The awesome Industrial globe chipboard was decorated underneath with a piece of pattern paper.

To give some rusty look I added orange paint to the already painted in brown Iron Garnish border.

Thank you for visiting us today!

Have a creative day!

Every Photo tells a Story and Captured - Michelle Carrick - Challenge inspiration

Hi everyone, I'm here to share with your TWO layouts I have created using the Dusty attic's November mood board.

The first one is

"You light up my Life"
A few years ago ... I made my Hubby do a photo shoot, needless to say he wasn't happy but eventually complied.

I cut the tags and dusted with Tim Holtz distress ink with a bit of chestnut brown chalk.

Using the Prima Finnabair Patina effects paste, I added effects to my Dusty attic chippies and a key and used the new Blackboard from Dusty Attics new range.

Finally finishing off with netting, Prima Flowers and my metal embellishments

And my second one to inspire you for the Challenge is  ...

"Every Photo Tells A Story"
My Son loves riding out the back of our house, in the farm lands.
{also becoming a selfie addict too! LOL}

With the canvas background, I used Tim Holtz reinkers and then used 49 & Market wire stamp as well as Celebr8 tyre track stamp.

I then using Dusty Attic's 'Industrial Barbed Stars' grunge boarder,
I paint.
ed with Prima Paste Rust and added orange paint here and there! then dusted with Black silver chalk.

I included Hessian, corrugated cardboard

Finally I added my metal cogs to complete the layout!

Paradise - Valerie Ouelett

Hi everyone,
Here is my layout inspired from the Dusty Attic Moodboard on the Blog.

I was inspired by the sketch, the keys and the corrugated piece.

I used the chipboard "Paradise Found" of the set "Mini captions #13". I cut the word "found" to use  the word "Paradise" only. I embossed with 2 colors of Lindy's embossing powders.

Behind my photo, I added  the gorgeous chipboard "Medaillons #1" that I painted with Finnabair paints.

I added some "Mini house keys" and "Corrugated cardboard" colored with Lindy's spray.
