Today's Favourite - Jacqueline Moore

Hi everyone!! How are you all? I am back again today sharing with you my free project for July. This time I have decided to create a layout using my favorite photo, chippies, and colors!!!

'Today's Favourite'

I have been wanting to create a pie chart on a layout for quite a while, so I pulled out some scrap paper, cut them, stenciled them and painted the, then attached them to a black circle with foam tape to help them stand out a little from the background.

Some close-ups:

For my title I have taken this awesome little phrase 'Today's Favourite' from the Mini Captions #2 and painted it black then layered it on my pie chart to the left of the page.

I have taken the bricks from the Brick Wall Panel and glued them on my background before painting them thoroughly with gesso and adding color with Twinkling H2o's. I then spread a mix of 13 Arts Microspheres and Gel Medium into all the cracks. This is the same technique I used on my 'XOXO' canvas early last month.

One of my favorite chippies at the moment is the Nameplates #2. I use a metal ruler and my Stanley knife to cut the centers out to create little frames. I have done that with one of the longer nameplates here, cutting it in half lengthwise and placing one half at the top of my page, the other at the bottom.
I have also punched out 2 leaves from the new release chipboard, Leaves #2. I have painted it white with gesso, then added a touch of Prima Mica powder.

Lot's flowers as always!! Some tucked away beneath my layers.

And of course lots of dimension!!!

For my journaling I added the vellum and Gold Foil 'I Treasure You' to my photo, and the 'Just Because' disk from the Word Disk #1 set. Remember you can order straight from the Dusty Attic website now and any retail orders over $75.00 have FREE postage.

That's all from me today!! I hope you all have a wonderful week!!!
