Blessed - Lynette Jacobs

Lynette here, welcome to the blog today.  I have the pleasure of sharing some inspiration for November.  I love to use photos that convey emotion and then create a page to give as a gift.  In this instance we were invited to the Dedication of a little girl and this photo where her big brother kisses her just tugged at my heart.  I used the beautiful Cocoa Vanilla Studio "More than Words" collection.

I used the following Dusty Attic products:

Some close up details:
There is nothing I love more than layers upon layers of papers combined with stitching.

I applied gesso through the criss-cross stencil and heat embossed the skeleton clock face in a grey.  The doily was added behind the photo to soften the layers.

The "Blessed" title was heat embossed in the same grey embossing powder as the skeleton clock.

I added some little grey flowers to my flower cluster the compliment the grey of the clock face and title.

The lavender sprigs were also heat embossed in white embossing powder and the final touch is the enamel dots sprinkled around the page.

Thank you for visiting the blog.  Visit the Dusty Attic online store for more amazing designs.

Happy crafting
