Celebrate - Adri Du Preez - Mood Board Inspiration

 Hello everyone!

Here is my layout inspired by the beautiful October mood board and featuring Dusty Attic  chipboard pieces.

This is my granddaughter Mila on her first birthday.  She is now five years old.  Unbelievable how time flies.

Here is my layout.

and here is the mood board.

All the chippies were first covered with white gesso.
I painted the polaroid frame and words with Americana Acrylic paint in Boysenberry Pink and Poodleskirt Pink.

On these stunning flags I used American Acrylic Paint in Boysenberry Pink and Poodleskirt Pink, Whispering Turquoise, Bubblegum Pink and Dusty Rose. I dry brushed the edges with white gesso. Before I glued the banners down, I thread through pink twine.

Foliage #23 and the Leaves #23 were heat embossed with Ranger white embossing powder.
Mini Foliage #1 were painted with Americana Acrylic paint in Mint Julep Green.

One of my favourite additions to add to my layouts are these stunning Wordpl@y elements.  I dry brushed them with white gesso and then Americana Acrylic paint in Bubblegum and Whispering Turquoise.

After everything was glued down, I added beads, glitter and splatters with diluted white gesso.

These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I have used.

Thank you for visiting the blog.  I hope you find time to play along with this beautiful mood board.
