February 2021 - (Mood Board by Svetlana Sanochkina)

Hello everyone and welcome to the month of "Love".

Today in Australia most school children go back to school after being off since the 19th December which is our long summer break, some people will love their kids getting back into routine and returning back to school, on the other hand some will be sad that holidays are over especially teachers and the Mum's who's little ones are starting for the first day.

Of course we have the perfect chipboard for any School layout.

Plus there are many more on the Dusty Attic website HERE

Hope everyone is staying safe and well.

Hi, dear friends!
Our February mood board inspired me to make cozy cards with houses and flowers.

Here is the moodboard:

I went totally crazy when I saw these mini Old Coins and I decided that would love to combine them with Houses (designed by Nuneka) to show the value of native home to a person!

So I covered the mini Old Coins with white gesso very carefully. I tried not to spoil beautiful carving. And then I covered them with transparent embossing powder.

One of my favourite chippies ever is Broken bits #5 - Wire. They are absolutely versatile and matches to any kind of project. I covered them with chunky empossing povder and mixed with paper flowers in layers.

For the background of my cards I chose a Lace Stencil. It is so beautiful that adds elegance to each project!

These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I have used:

I hope you find some time to play along with this beautiful mood board.
