Hello everyone!
I am sharing my layout inspired by the August mood board. It is STUNNING to say the least. Remember you have till the end of this month to participate in the challenge all you need to do is add your take in the comments section of the Dusty FANattics facebook page HERE
For this layout I am using the gorgeous Vintage Artistry collection designed by Katie Pertiet for 49 and Market.

This is how I treated the chippies.
I heat embossed the title with white embossing powder.
The branches were inked in brown and black ink and dry brushed with white acrylic paint.
The reeds and the grass cluster were all treated the same way. The flowers of the reeds were first covered with coarse gesso. Once dry, I covered the rest of the reeds and grass clusters with white gesso. The flowers of the reeds were painted with brown acrylic paint and the leaves, stems and grass clusters in shades of green and dry brushed with clay, ochre, gold and white acrylic paint.
I painted the tea leaves with white gesso and then green and gold acrylic paint and dry brushed with white acrylic paint.
