We are very happy to welcome back to Perth our Dusty Attic Brand Ambassador, Design Team Member and international guest artist Antonis Tzanidakis for 5 inspiring mixed media classes held over 3 days at the Hotel Clipper in Rockingham Perth WA.

Antonis is a mixed media artist from Greece with a unique flair for creating the most amazing mixed media projects, he has just released his very own line of products which he will be using in his classes along with specialist Dusty Attic Designer Chipboard and a variety of mediums from Stamperia.

There will be an evening class on Friday plus day and evening classes on Saturday and Sunday.

 You can complete one class or all 5.

Class 1 - Friday August 16th 6.00pm – 10.00pm

Class 2 - Saturday August 17th 9.00am – 4.00pm
STEAMPUNK NOTES $135

Let Antonis guide you through his longest project to date. You will use clay and chipboard together with Antonis’s new products - stencils, stamps and papers. You will start off by stitching the papers, creating amazing texture and then use a combination of unique techniques to create a one of a kind project. You will be required to bring an A5 hard back novel that is approximately 3cm thick for this workshop.

Class 3 - Saturday August 17th 5.00pm – 10.00pm
VIOLIN $135

 

Using Dusty Attic Designer Chipboard, Antonis will guide you through creating this panel incorporating a variety of techniques and mediums including decoupage with different rice papers, creating a leather effect, using stencils and transparent crackle paste.

Class 4 - Sunday August 18th 9.00am – 2.30pm

MUSIC OF STEAMPUNK $135

In this class you will use Dusty Attic Designer Chipboard, pages from a book to create a guitar and then incorporate Antonis’ new collection of products together with stone paper, clay, stencils and stamps plus learn new techniques with painting and crackle paste to create this project.

Class 5 - Sunday August 18th 4.00pm – 10.00pm

LUNCH: A light lunch will be Included on SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

PARKING: Free parking on site

DISCOUNT: $50 if all 5 classes purchased.
REQUIREMENTS: The class requirement list is minimal as Antonis will be providing most of the materials required, including substrates, paints, embellishments, papers and other media. Dusty Attic will be holding a small shop so you can purchase further items on the day.

Hello, today I would like to share with you a LO I did using Dusty Attic's Beautiful Mood Board for May.....

Other Elements used: Clear & White Gesso, Clear Crackle Paint, Lindys-Magical-Pop Rock Purple & Whale Watch Blue,  Shimmerz- Paradise Punch & First Blush, LuminArt' H20-Plum Blossom, Liquid Pearls, Prills, Sequins, Netting, Ribbon.....

Here are some close ups....

I primed the chipboard with clear gesso, the applied clear crackle onto some of the pieces. Once the crackle paint dried I played with the colors listed above.....

I used 4 frames to frame the photo, Ornate Circle, String Frame Set, Vintage Frame & Antique Frame.....

After I painted the String & Ornate Circle frame, I glued the frames together then glued them onto a piece of Vintage Remnants #3......
